‘I SWEAR’ NOW STREAMING ON NETFLIX, FEATURING EDITING BY ECHO’S SAM SNEADE!

Wonderful to see ‘I SWEAR’, Edited by echo’s Sam Sneade and directed by Kirk Jones, is now available to watch on Netflix.

The film tells the powerful true-life story of Tourette’s Syndrome campaigner John Davidson, a funny, moving and life-affirming journey from adolescence to adulthood, shining a light on a condition still widely misunderstood.

The film has earned critical acclaim, including Winner of Best British Film and Best Actor (Robert Aramayo) at the 2026 BAFTAs, and a nomination for Best British Independent Film at the 2025 BIFAs.

Celebrating nominations for ‘ANDOR’ Season 2 and 'I SWEAR' at the British Film Editors (BFE) Cut Above Awards.

ANDOR’ Season 2 is nominated for Best Edited Series: Drama, featuring editing by echo’s Yan Miles, ACE on episodes 7, 8, and 9 (alongside Director Janus Metz), and echo’s Morten Højbjerg, BFE on episode 10 (with Director Alonso Ruizpalacios). The series was created by Tony Gilroy and stars Diego Luna, Faye Marsay, and Adria Arjona,

PILLION’ has 3 nominations, including Outstanding British Film and Best Adapted Screenplay, featuring production design by echo’s Francesca Massariol and Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Diandra Ferreira.

The winners will be announced on Sunday 22 February in London.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2026 LONDON CRITICS’ CIRCLE AWARD WINNERS!

Amazing to see echo clients recognised among this year’s London Critics’ Circle Award–winning projects.

‘PILLION’, written and directed by Harry Lighton and starring Alexander Skarsgård and Harry Melling, was named ‘British/Irish Film of the Year’. The film features work by echo’s Production Designer Francesca Massariol and echo’s Hair + Make-Up Designer Diandra Ferreira.
Lighton also received the ‘Breakthrough British/Irish Filmmaker of the Year’ award for the film.

Also recognised, Robert Aramayo won ‘Breakthrough Performer of the Year’ for ‘I SWEAR’, directed by Kirk Jones and edited by echo client Sam Sneade.

BUBBLE AND SQUEAK, RABBIT TRAP, THE BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND AND THE THINGS YOU KILL AT SUNDANCE THIS WEEK!

We’re excited to see several films featuring echo client work featured at 2025 Sundance Film Festival opening this week!

BUBBLE AND SQUEAK (pictured) written and directed by Evan Twohy will have its world premiere within the ‘US Dramatic Competition’.

Featuring Costume Design by Frank Gallacher, the romantic road comedy stars Himesh Patel, Sarah Goldberg, Steven Yeun, Dave Franco, and Matt Berry.

Bryn Chainey’s debut RABBIT TRAP will also premiere at the festival within the ‘Midnight’ category.

The psychological horror stars Dev Patel and Rosy McEwen, with Editing by Sam Sneade and Hair + Make-Up Design by Natasha Lawes.

As part of Sundance’s ‘Premiere’ category is THE BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND directed by James Griffiths.

Starring Carey Mulligan, Tom Basden and Tim Key with Production Design by Alexandra Toomey.

THE THINGS YOU KILL, written, directed and produced by Alireza Khatami will be premiering within the ‘World Dramatic Competition’. With Cinematography by Bartosz Swiniarski and a cast featuring Ekin Koç, Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, Hazar Ergüçlü, Ercan Kesal.

The film festival is taking place in Utah from January 23rd 2025 to February 2nd 2025!

BAFTA NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED!

This year’s BAFTA nominations have been announced and we are very pleased to congratulate Production Designer Laura Ellis Cricks and Costume Designer Jo Thompson for their work on Michael Pearce’s BEAST which has been nominated for Outstanding British Film and Outstanding Debut; Guy Speranza for his costume design on Jon S. Baird’s STAN & OLLIE which is also nominated for Outstanding British Film; Editor Napoleon Stratogiannakis for his work of APOSTASY which has a nod for Outstanding Debut for Director Dan Kokotajlo; and last but not least Sam Sneade who was Additional Editor on THE FAVOURITE which is nominated for Best Film along with 10 other awards. Congratulations!! The award ceremony will take place in London on the 10th of February.

"THE FAVOURITE" WINS GRAND JURY PRIZE AT VENICE!

THE FAVOURITE, the latest film from Academy Award nominated director, Yorgos Lanthimos, has won the Grand Jury Prize at this year's Venice along with Olivia Colman winning the Best Actress Volpi Cup.

With additional editing by echo's Sam Sneade and starring Rachel Weisz, Emma Stone and Olivia Colman, the film was also part of the selection for New York and Telluride Film Festivals and is also part of the London Film Festival in October.
