LONDON FILM FESTIVAL LINEUP 2021!

We are really excited after seeing the official 2021 London Film Festival Lineup! Big Congratulations to our clients with projects screening in this years fest.

This years lineup includes TRUE THINGS, designed by Production Designer Andy Drummond (which will screen in the Official Competition); SHE WILL (pictured) with Production Design by Laura Ellis Cricks; A BANQUET, featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by Kat Morgan; EAR FOR EYE with Hair + Make-Up Design by Nora Robertson; and short film FOR LOVE, featuring Costume Design by Buki Ebiesuwa (which is in the Official Short Film Competition).

London Film Festival 2021 runs from 6th - 17th October.

Huge congratulations to Production Designer Laura Ellis Cricks who has been nominated for an MTV Music Award for her work on Harry Styles ADORE YOU!

The awards ceremony will take place in New York City on 30th August!

Harry Styles new music video for latest single ADORE YOU is released today! Directed by Dave Meyers and with Production Design by Laura Ellis Cricks, the video takes places on fictional island Eroda.

TBT: "BRIGITTE" AT VENICE FILM FESTIVAL!

Throwing it back to these beautiful images shot by Brigitte Lacombe from the short film BRIGITTE! The film, directed by Lynne Ramsay, screened at Venice earlier this month and features production design by Laura Ellis-Cricks and costume design by Sarah Blenkinsop. It is the 18th commission from Miu Miu Women’s Tales, the short film series that champions female directors to investigate vanity and femininity in the 21st century. "TWO FOR JOY" AVAILABLE ON SKY CINEMA FROM TODAY!

Tom Beard’s TWO FOR JOY is available on Sky Cinema from today! The film, which features Production Design by Laura Ellis Cricks and Costume Design by Sarah Blenkinsop, follows a daughter (Billie Piper), her bed-ridden mother (Samantha Morton), and her troubled younger brother, as they work through themes of mental illness and young carers.

EIFF 2019 LINEUP ANNOUNCED!

The Edinburgh International Film Festival revealed it’s full lineup today! As previously announced, Ninian Doff’s debut feature BOYZ IN THE WOOD will open this year’s programme with echo’s Mark Everson Consulting Editor on the film. We are also pleased to say that Rowan Athale’s STRANGE BUT TRUE will have it’s World Premiere, shot by Stuart Bentley, BSC; William McGregor’s GWEN, with production design by Laura Ellis Cricks, will also be screening at the fest and Australian film UNDERTOW, lensed by Bonnie Elliott, ACS will have it’s International Premiere.

BAFTA NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED!

This year’s BAFTA nominations have been announced and we are very pleased to congratulate Production Designer Laura Ellis Cricks and Costume Designer Jo Thompson for their work on Michael Pearce’s BEAST which has been nominated for Outstanding British Film and Outstanding Debut; Guy Speranza for his costume design on Jon S. Baird’s STAN & OLLIE which is also nominated for Outstanding British Film; Editor Napoleon Stratogiannakis for his work of APOSTASY which has a nod for Outstanding Debut for Director Dan Kokotajlo; and last but not least Sam Sneade who was Additional Editor on THE FAVOURITE which is nominated for Best Film along with 10 other awards. Congratulations!! The award ceremony will take place in London on the 10th of February.

COSTUME DESIGNER GUY SPERANZA NOMINATED FOR A BIFA!

Huge congratulations go to echo’s Guy Speranza for his Best Costume Design nomination at this year BIFAs for his work on STAN & OLLIE!

Our congrats also go to our clients who worked on the Best Film nominees; Costume Designer Jo Thompson and Production Designer Laura Ellis Cricks for BEAST, Luke Dunkley and Andy Worboys who co-edited AMERICAN ANIMALS and THE FAVOURITE with additional editing by Sam Sneade.

And finally, well done to all clients who worked on nominated films including APOSTASY cut by Napolean Stratogiannakis, THE HAPPY PRINCE cut by Nicolas Gaster, HAPPY NEW YEAR COLIN BURSTEAD with costumes by Emma Fryer and hair + make-up by Emma Scott, DEAD IN A WEEK with costume design by Natalie Humphries, CALIBRE features hair + make-up design by Bean Ellis, UNDER THE WIRE and DISOBEDIENCE both by art directed Bobbie Cousins and short film POMMEL cut by Sarah Brewerton.

The awards take place on 2nd of December in London. Well done team echo!
