"MONDAY" IS OUT TOMORROW IN THE US!

Argyris Papadimitropoulos’ MONDAY is out in the US tomorrow! The film, which screened at both TIFF and Tribeca, is cut by Papadimitropoulos’ regular collaborator, Editor Napoleon Stratogiannakis. Starring Denise Gough and Sebastian Stan if you’re in the US you can see it from tomorrow in select cinemas or on demand.

TRIBECA LINEUP 2020!

The 2020 lineup for Tribeca Film Festival was announced yesterday! We are excited to see that AINU MOSIR (pictured), shot by Sean Price Williams is in the International Narrative Competition and MONDAY, cut by Napoleon Stratogiannakis, and BAD EDUCATION, with Costume Design by Alex Bovaird, are both in the Spotlight Narrative lineup.

The festival runs in New York City from 15th of April - 26th April 2020!

One of our favourite films of last year, APOSTASY, premieres on Sky Cinema tonight at 6.20pm! A fabulous feature debut from Director Dan Kokotajlo and cut by echo’s Napoleon Stratogiannakis. Hurry home to catch it!

BAFTA NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED!

This year’s BAFTA nominations have been announced and we are very pleased to congratulate Production Designer Laura Ellis Cricks and Costume Designer Jo Thompson for their work on Michael Pearce’s BEAST which has been nominated for Outstanding British Film and Outstanding Debut; Guy Speranza for his costume design on Jon S. Baird’s STAN & OLLIE which is also nominated for Outstanding British Film; Editor Napoleon Stratogiannakis for his work of APOSTASY which has a nod for Outstanding Debut for Director Dan Kokotajlo; and last but not least Sam Sneade who was Additional Editor on THE FAVOURITE which is nominated for Best Film along with 10 other awards. Congratulations!! The award ceremony will take place in London on the 10th of February.

NAPO STRAOGIANNAKIS STARTS WORK ON "MONDAY"!

Editor, Napoleon Stratogiannakis has teamed up again with award winning SUNTAN (pictured) director Argyris Papadimitropoulos for his new feature MONDAY. Produced by Faliro House Productions and Fred Berger’s Automatik, the shoot is underway!

Huge congratulations go to echo’s Guy Speranza for his Best Costume Design nomination at this year BIFAs for his work on STAN & OLLIE!

Our congrats also go to our clients who worked on the Best Film nominees; Costume Designer Jo Thompson and Production Designer Laura Ellis Cricks for BEAST, Luke Dunkley and Andy Worboys who co-edited AMERICAN ANIMALS and THE FAVOURITE with additional editing by Sam Sneade.

And finally, well done to all clients who worked on nominated films including APOSTASY cut by Napolean Stratogiannakis, THE HAPPY PRINCE cut by Nicolas Gaster, HAPPY NEW YEAR COLIN BURSTEAD with costumes by Emma Fryer and hair + make-up by Emma Scott, DEAD IN A WEEK with costume design by Natalie Humphries, CALIBRE features hair + make-up design by Bean Ellis, UNDER THE WIRE and DISOBEDIENCE both by art directed Bobbie Cousins and short film POMMEL cut by Sarah Brewerton.

The awards take place on 2nd of December in London. Well done team echo!

Catch contemporary dancer Bobby Jene Smith playing Charlotte in Georgia Parris’ debut film MARI, premiering tonight at LFF! Parris blends dance and drama, following Charlotte undergoing a complex journey through womanhood. Featuring work from echo clients Hair and Make-Up Designer, Bean Ellis, Costume Designer Holly Rebecca, Production Designer Bobby Cousins and Editor Napoleon Stratogiannakis.

Congratulations to all ECHO clients who have films selected in this year’s London Film Festival!  Screening in the First Feature Competition are: APOSTASY, directed by Daniel Kokotajlo and cut by Napoleon Stratogiannakis; BEAST, directed by Michael Pearce with production design by Laura Ellis Cricks; I AM NOT A WITCH, directed by Rungano Nyoni, with cinematography by David Gallego, ADFC, costume design by Holly Rebecca, and art direction by Malin Lindholm. In the Documentary Competition: Jinx Godfrey for her consulting work on KINGDOM OF US, directed by Lucy Cohen.  Other films screening at the festival include: DARK RIVER, directed by Clio Barnard and co-cut by Luke Dunkley; GOOD TIME, directed by Josh and Benny Safdie and lensed by Sean Price Williams; THE PARTY, directed by Sally Potter with costume design by Jane Petrie; AAMIR, directed by Vika Evdokimenko and edited by Matteo Bini; FAMILY HAPPINESS, directed by Alice Englert with cinematography by Lachlan Milne, ACS; OKSIJAN, directed by Edward Watts and lensed by Michael Paleodimos; ROBOT AND SCARECROW, directed by Kibwe Tavares and designed by Laura Ellis Cricks.  The festival will take place from 4th- 15th October.

TORONTO FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES DISCOVERY AND SPECIAL PRESENTATION LINE-UP

ECHO Congratulates Editor, Napoleon Stratogiannakis for ifeature APOSTASY, directed by Dan Kokotajlo which will have it’s world premiere at this year’s TIFF.  Congratulations also go to Director of Photography, David Gallego, ADFCCostume Designer, Holly Rebecca and Malin Lindholm for her art direction for Nathan Parker for Rungano Nyoni’s feature debut and North American Premiere, I AM NOT A WITCH which is also screening in the Discovery section.  Michael Noer’s PAPILLON, with hair and make-up design by Kirstin Chalmers and YOU DISAPPEAR (DU FORSVINDER) directed by Peter Schønau Fog and edited by Morten Højbjerg will also screen at the festival in the Special Presentation category.
