We feel really strongly about giving back to the communities that we live and work in and helping towards making the industry a more inclusive place for all. 2% of echo's yearly profits are donated to charitable organisations. Each year we pick a handful of charities to donate to, often focussing on charities that prioritise minority groups and the injustices and racism they face in day to day life.
We also have a volunteering programme which allows all staff at echo to take one paid day a month to volunteer in their community, work with a charity or give back in some way. As a company we encourage staff to seek out charities/programmes focussing on young, vulnerable and under represented people who are trying to break into the film industry.
