With Cinematography by echo’s Shane F. Kelly, ‘BLUE MOON’ has been nominated for 'Best Original Screenplay' and 'Best Actor'(Ethan Hawke). Directed by Richard Linklater, the film offers a witty and heartfelt portrait of lyricist Lorenz Hart, who reflects on his past partnership with Richard Rodgers and the changing world of musical theatre.

‘PERFECTLY A STRANGENESS’ is nominated for ‘Best Documentary Short’, with echo’s Nicolas Canniccioni as Director of Photography. Directed by Alison McAlpine, the short premiered at Cannes and follows three donkeys as they journey across a vast and grand desert, exploring movement, discovery and quiet wonder.

The 98th Oscar’s will take place this Sunday 15th March in Hollywood at the Dolby Theatre.

JON HENSON AS PRODUCTION DESIGNER ON NEW TK MAXX COMMERCIAL!

We’re thrilled to share the new TK Maxx commercial ‘Every day can be iconic with a TK Maxx deal’, featuring Production Design by echo’s Jon Henson.

Directed by Andreas Nilsson and produced by Biscuit, the comedic spot follows a mischievous cat who goes viral after wearing a shoe on its head whilst rummaging through its owner’s TK Maxx bag. The cat quickly becomes a fashion sensation, making catwalk appearances and landing brand deals!

‘I SWEAR’ NOW STREAMING ON NETFLIX, FEATURING EDITING BY ECHO’S SAM SNEADE!

Wonderful to see ‘I SWEAR’, Edited by echo’s Sam Sneade and directed by Kirk Jones, is now available to watch on Netflix.

The film tells the powerful true-life story of Tourette’s Syndrome campaigner John Davidson, a funny, moving and life-affirming journey from adolescence to adulthood, shining a light on a condition still widely misunderstood.

The film has earned critical acclaim, including Winner of Best British Film and Best Actor (Robert Aramayo) at the 2026 BAFTAs, and a nomination for Best British Independent Film at the 2025 BIFAs.

NEW DM AUSTRIA COMMERCIAL FEATURES NOËL SCHOOLDERMAN AS DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY!

Delighted to see the new commercial ‘Uniquely Together’ for DM Austria has been released, featuring echo’s Noël Schoolderman as Director of Photography.

Shot on location in Bulgaria, the spot was directed by Judith Veenendaal and produced by Stink, showcasing a fun and cinematic aesthetic!

Highlights included:

‘THE FALL OF SIR DOUGLAS WEATHERFORD', featuring echo’s David Gallego, ADFC, as Director of Photography, which premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam last month.

'YOUNG SHERLOCK' OUT NOW, FEATURING WORK BY ECHO’S TIM MURRELL!

Such a delight to share that the first episode of 'YOUNG SHERLOCK' is now streaming on Prime TV, featuring work by echo’s Editor Tim Murrell, who edited episodes 1–4 and served as Supervising Editor for the entire season.

Directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Searchlight Pictures, the series follows a 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes at Oxford. A murder puts him on his first case, drawing him into a conspiracy that stretches far beyond the campus.

TOBY LEARY AS DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY ON SALOMON COMMERCIAL!

Impressive to see echo’s Director of Photography Toby Leary on Salomon’s latest commercial, 'XT-Whisper'.

Directed by FA + Fon, produced by Mox London, and featuring artist, musician, and cultural voice Dina Ayada, the spot showcases the XT-Whisper shoe while exploring themes of identity and self-expression.

TRAILER RELEASED FOR 'PRIDE AND PREJUDICE', SHOT BY ECHO’S CHLOË THOMSON, BSC!

We’re pleased to share the trailer for ‘PRIDE AND PREJUDICE’, a six-part limited series adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel, shot by echo’s Director of Photography Chloë Thomson, BSC.

Directed by Euros Lyn and written by Dolly Alderton, the series stars Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet, Jack Lowden as Mr. Darcy, and Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennet, alongside Rufus Sewell, Louis Partridge, Rhea Norwood, and Freya Mavor.

The series is scheduled for release in Autumn 2026.

Exciting to see echo’s Costume Designer Susie Coulthard featured in a Glamour article, talking about her inventive work on ‘100 NIGHTS OF HERO’.

From Manfred’s evolving shirts and Charli XCX’s embroidered velvet smock to Cherry’s pastel wardrobe and statement headpieces by Hood London, her designs bring bold style and personality to Julia Jackman’s exuberant historical fantasy.

Mangan goes on to laud the series for its perfect pacing where there is “no padding here, no eking out, nor desperate compressions”.

LEGO has launched a new zombie-themed commercial ‘Awaken Your Joy’, featuring Hair + Makeup by echo’s Natasha Lawes who looked after 70 zombies in one day!

Produced by Stink and Directed by the collective Traktor, the commercial follows the life of Zombies as they become engrossed in the art of lego.

‘DEAD OF WINTER’ IN UK & IRISH CINEMAS THIS FRIDAY, FEATURING EDITING BY TIM MURRELL!

‘DEAD OF WINTER’, edited by echo client Tim Murrell, arrives in UK & Irish cinemas tomorrow, 26th of September.

Directed by Brian Kirk and starring Emma Thompson, this gripping thriller follows a lone traveller in snowbound Minnesota who stumbles upon a kidnapping — and discovers she may be a teenage girl’s only chance of survival.

Following its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Audience Award, the film is now set to captivate audiences closer to home.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALEX HOLMES ON HIS APDG AWARD

We’re thrilled to celebrate echo’s Alex Holmes on winning ‘The Bunya Productions: Production Design for a Television Production’ at the Australian Production Design Guild (APDG) Awards for his work on the Netflix series ‘ERIC'.

Directed by Lucy Forbes and produced by SISTER Pictures, ‘ERIC' tells the moving story of a father coming to terms with his son’s disappearance. Alex’s incredible Production Design brings the series’ emotional journey to life.
