‘WHERE THE RIVER BEGINS’ PREMIERES AT TIFF!

In its World Premiere, WHERE THE RIVER BEGINS screens today in Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)’s Centrepiece programme, with cinematography by Director of Photography echo’s Nicolas Canniccioni.

Directed by Juan Andrés Arango, the bracing but poetic drama follows an Emberá woman displaced by violence as she undertakes a dangerous journey in search of a better life for herself and her daughter.

The film was produced by Columbia’s Inercia Películas and Canada’s Midi la Nuit.

‘OASIS: DON’T LOOK BACK IN ANGER’ OUT IN CINEMAS TODAY!

Following its World Premiere at the 2026 Venice International Film Festival, OASIS: DON’T LOOK BACK IN ANGER is out in cinemas today, featuring additional photography by echo’s Ruben Woodin Dechamps, alongside cinematography by echo’s Will Pugh as part of the wider team of cinematographers.

Created by BAFTA and Oscar-nominated writer, producer and director Steven Knight, the documentary is directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace and produced by Magna Studios.

The film captures Liam and Noel Gallagher’s return to the stage for their first performances together in 16 years, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their highly anticipated reunion.

'FAITH' + 'EVERYBODY WANTS TO FUCK ME' MAKE WORLD PREMIERE AT TIFF TODAY!

‘FAITH’ has its World Premiere today at the Toronto International Film Festival, featuring Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, BFDG.

Directed by Paul Andrew Williams and starring James McAvoy and Erin Doherty, the supernatural drama follows a single mother whose life takes an unexpected turn. Produced by Giant Productions + Homefront Productions alongside Blazing Griffin, in association with Bankside Films and Logical Pictures, the film screens in TIFF’s Special Presentations programme.

Also featured in the TIFF line-up, EVERYBODY WANTS TO F*CK ME is a dark comedy thriller directed by Jonathan Schey, with Additional Photography by echo’s Bjørn Ståle Bratberg, BSC, FNF. Produced by Studiocanal, Parkville Pictures, Lucky Chap + Film4, the film follows a seemingly perfect man who discovers that multiple women are stalking him and want to be with him.

‘STUFFED’ SET FOR WORLD PREMIERE AT TIFF!

Today, STUFFED will make its highly anticipated World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), opening the 2026 Discovery programme and featuring Costume Design by echo’s Holly Rebecca. This is Holly’s second film screening at Toronto this year!

Described as a “gloriously twisted” musical, Theo Rhys’ feature directorial debut stars Jodie Comer and Harry Melling. The film follows Araminta, a taxidermist with a secret ambition to stuff a human specimen, and Bernie, a man afraid of ageing who volunteers to become her subject.

Produced by Agile Films and Cornerstone Films, STUFFED offers an unconventional take on love, obsession and mortality.

The 2026 Toronto International Film Festival will run from 10th–20th September.

‘AT NIGHT’ TO PREMIERE AT TIFF TODAY!

Tomorrow, AT NIGHT will make its North American Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), featuring Costume Design by echo’s Holly Rebecca.

Directed by Beatrice Gibson, the film follows six women over one night in Paris. The feature was supported by BBC Film and produced by Somesuch and Norte Productions.

The film previously premiered at the Locarno Film Festival, where it won the Best Emerging Director award.

Further titles have been announced for the 2026 London Film Festival, featuring work by echo clients.

‘TENDER LOVING CARE’ features Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Nora Robertson. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Mike Leigh.

‘PRIMETIME’ with Costume Design by echo’s Alex Bovaird. Starring Robert Pattinson, the biographical psychological thriller is directed by Lance Oppenheim in his narrative feature debut and produced by A24.

The 2026 London Film Festival will run from 7–18 October.

TELLURIDE FILM FESTIVAL 2026: ECHO CLIENTS FEATURE IN TODAY’S SCREENINGS!

‘THE INCOMER’ OUT IN CINEMAS!

After premiering at Sundance (winning the NEXT Innovator Award) and opening this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival, THE INCOMER is now out in cinemas across the UK and Ireland, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop.

Starring Domhnall Gleeson, THE INCOMER is writer and director Louis Paxton’s feature debut, with Paxton recently named among Rising Stars Scotland 2026. The film is produced by Shirley O’Connor and Emily Gotto for Pilea Pictures, Screen Scotland and BFI.

The uniquely surreal comedy is set on a remote Scottish island, and follows a man and his sister who survive by hunting seabirds and sharing stories of their ancestors, as they face the arrival of feared newcomers and fight to protect their home.

2026 BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL LINE-UP ANNOUNCED, FEATURING ECHO CLIENT WORK!

The 2026 BFI London Film Festival line-up has been announced, featuring work by several echo clients across the festival’s Galas, Laugh, Dare, Thrill and Journey programmes.

In the Galas programme, BUNKER features Cinematography by echo’s Ben Smithard, BSC. Directed by Florian Zeller, the film stars Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz.

The Laugh programme presents IT GETS WORSE, edited by echo’s Josh Mallalieu on episodes 2, 4 +6, and directed by Mounia Akl.

MARIE MADELEINE will screen in the Dare programme, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Nicolas Canniccioni and directed by Géssica Généus.

Also in the Dare programme, AT NIGHT features Costume Design by echo’s Holly Rebecca, and is directed by Beatrice Gibson.

The Thrill programme features BLACK CHURCH BAY, directed by Rhys Marc Jones and featuring Production Design and Costume Design by echo’s Paix Robinson, BFDG.

In the Journey programme, IN THE SHADOWS features Production Design by echo’s Paix Robinson, BFDG, and is directed by Anthony Wonke.

Also screening in the Journey programme is VISIONQUEST, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Ben Smithard, BSC on episodes 5 + 6 and directed by Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, Vincenzo Natali and Terry Matalas.

LAUNDREAMS will screen as part of the Call Your Bluff short film compilation, featuring Editing by echo’s Donya Majidi-Maguire BFE and Production Design + Costume Design by echo’s Paix Robinson, BFDG. The short is written and directed by Evie Ward-Drummond and Amber Gadd.

The 2026 BFI London Film Festival will run from 7th–18th October 2026.

‘FIGHTLAND’ NOW STREAMING ON SKY AND NOW TV!

The wait is over, FIGHTLAND is now out on Sky and NOW TV in the UK, featuring Editing by echo’s Matteo Bini on Episodes 3 + 6 and Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Nora Robertson.

Starring Howard Charles as boxing champion Duke Kilroy, the series follows his return home after eight years in a US prison, determined to settle the score with the man he believes betrayed him.

Directed by Otto Bathurst, Sebastian Thiel, Tessa Hoffe and Colm McCarthy, the series is produced by Expanded Media, G-Unit and Starz, with Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson serving as executive producer.

A new adaptation of Mark McShane’s 1961 novel SEANCE ON A WET AFTERNOON has been announced, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop.

Directed by Tomas Alfredson and produced by Element Pictures, Astral Projection and Film4, the film will star Rachel Weisz, Joe Alwyn and Matthew Macfadyen.

The psychological thriller follows Myra, a self-proclaimed medium who persuades her husband, Billy, to kidnap the son of a wealthy family.

We’re pleased to share that ON FALLING, writer-director Laura Carreira’s acclaimed debut feature, is now available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

The film features Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, BFDG, and was produced by Sixteen Films and BRO Cinema with support from BFI, BBC Films, Screen Scotland and ICA.

Starring Joana Santos, ON FALLING follows Aurora, a Portuguese worker in a Scottish warehouse, as she navigates loneliness and alienation, searching for meaning and human connection amid the confines of work and shared living.

The film premiered at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) before screening in competition at San Sebastián and the BFI London Film Festival, where it won the Sutherland Award for Best First Feature.

Written and directed by Swedish-Danish filmmaker Maria Bäck, the film is competing for the prestigious Golden Leopard in the Concorso Internazionale competition.
