MANCHESTER FILM FESTIVAL 2026 LINE-UP ANNOUNCED, FEATURING WORK BY ECHO CLIENTS!

We’re excited to share that projects featuring echo clients work will be part of the 2026 Manchester Film Festival.

Premieres and major screenings include ‘ROSE OF NEVADA’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Jo Thompson, directed by Mark Jenkin and starring George MacKay and Callum Turner.

'LADY' showcases Director of Photography by echo’s Korsshan Schlauer, Production Design by echo’s Agnieszka Debska, and Editing by echo’s Josh Mallalieu. Directed by Samuel Abrahams and starring Sian Clifford, the film will have its Manchester premiere.

'THE FALL OF SIR DOUGLAS WEATHERFORD' includes Director of Photography by echo’s David Gallego, ADFC and will also have its Manchester premiere, starring Peter Mullan.

The festival will close with 'CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN’, featuring echo’s Andy Drummond as Production Designer and marking the directorial debut of James McAvoy.

Manchester Film Festival runs from 19–29 March 2026.

ANDY DRUMMOND AS PRODUCTION DESIGNER ON FFERNS WINTER COMMERCIAL!

Delighted to share that echo’s Andy Drummond worked as Production Designer on Ffern’s newly released winter commercial, ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’.

Directed by Nora Fingscheidt and produced by Ffern, the video follows the quietly compelling story of a solitary lighthouse keeper navigating the seasonal shift into winter.

Huge congratulations to echo’s Andy and the entire team for crafting such an atmospheric and beautiful piece.

'ON FALLING' PREMIERES AT LONDON FILM FESTIVAL TODAY!

The London Film Festival will feature the UK premiere of ON FALLING today, the debut film from director Laura Carreira. Produced by Sixteen Films and Bro Cinema, the film showcases the creative talents of echo Production Designer Andy Drummond and Hair + Make-Up Designer Kat Morgan. Financial backing comes from BFI, BBC Films, Screen Scotland, and ICA, the story centers on Aurora, a Portuguese worker navigating life in a Scottish warehouse.
