2026 BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL LINE-UP ANNOUNCED, FEATURING ECHO CLIENT WORK!

The 2026 BFI London Film Festival line-up has been announced, featuring work by several echo clients across the festival’s Galas, Laugh, Dare, Thrill and Journey programmes.

In the Galas programme, BUNKER features Cinematography by echo’s Ben Smithard, BSC. Directed by Florian Zeller, the film stars Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz.

The Laugh programme presents IT GETS WORSE, edited by echo’s Josh Mallalieu on episodes 2, 4 +6, and directed by Mounia Akl.

MARIE MADELEINE will screen in the Dare programme, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Nicolas Canniccioni and directed by Géssica Généus.

Also in the Dare programme, AT NIGHT features Costume Design by echo’s Holly Rebecca, and is directed by Beatrice Gibson.

The Thrill programme features BLACK CHURCH BAY, directed by Rhys Marc Jones and featuring Production Design and Costume Design by echo’s Paix Robinson, BFDG.

In the Journey programme, IN THE SHADOWS features Production Design by echo’s Paix Robinson, BFDG, and is directed by Anthony Wonke.

Also screening in the Journey programme is VISIONQUEST, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Ben Smithard, BSC on episodes 5 + 6 and directed by Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, Vincenzo Natali and Terry Matalas.

LAUNDREAMS will screen as part of the Call Your Bluff short film compilation, featuring Editing by echo’s Donya Majidi-Maguire BFE and Production Design + Costume Design by echo’s Paix Robinson, BFDG. The short is written and directed by Evie Ward-Drummond and Amber Gadd.

The 2026 BFI London Film Festival will run from 7th–18th October 2026.

ECHO CLIENT PROJECTS SELECTED FOR THE 2026 VENICE FILM FESTIVAL!

The 2026 Venice International Film Festival line-up has been revealed, with several projects featuring work by echo clients selected across the programme.

In the Competition section, ‘PRIMETIME’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Alex Bovaird, has been selected to screen. Directed by Lance Oppenheim and produced by A24, the crime drama stars Robert Pattinson.

Also in the Competition section, ‘BUNKER’, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Ben Smithard, BSC. Directed by Florian Zeller and produced by Blue Morning Pictures and Sony Pictures Classics, the film continues its festival run following recent selections at Toronto.

The 83rd Venice International Film Festival takes place from 26th August – 5th September 2026.

ECHO CLIENTS PROJECTS SELECTED FOR THE 2026 TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL!

We're pleased to see a number of projects featuring work by echo clients selected for the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival.

In the Gala Presentations programme, ‘BUNKER’, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Ben Smithard, BSC, will make its North American debut. The film is directed by Florian Zeller and produced by Blue Morning Pictures and Sony Pictures Classics.

In the Special Presentations programme, ‘ALPHA GANG’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Susie Coulthard, will have its International Premiere. The film is directed by David Zellner and produced by ZBI and Pastel.

Also screening in Special Presentations is ‘FAITH’, featuring Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, BFDG, which will have its World Premiere. The film is directed by Paul Andrew Williams and produced by Blazing Griffin.

The 2026 Toronto International Film Festival runs from 10th – 20th September.
