MANCHESTER FILM FESTIVAL 2026 LINE-UP ANNOUNCED, FEATURING WORK BY ECHO CLIENTS!

We’re excited to share that projects featuring echo clients work will be part of the 2026 Manchester Film Festival.

Premieres and major screenings include ‘ROSE OF NEVADA’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Jo Thompson, directed by Mark Jenkin and starring George MacKay and Callum Turner.

'LADY' showcases Director of Photography by echo’s Korsshan Schlauer, Production Design by echo’s Agnieszka Debska, and Editing by echo’s Josh Mallalieu. Directed by Samuel Abrahams and starring Sian Clifford, the film will have its Manchester premiere.

'THE FALL OF SIR DOUGLAS WEATHERFORD' includes Director of Photography by echo’s David Gallego, ADFC and will also have its Manchester premiere, starring Peter Mullan.

The festival will close with 'CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN’, featuring echo’s Andy Drummond as Production Designer and marking the directorial debut of James McAvoy.

Manchester Film Festival runs from 19–29 March 2026.

ECHO TALENT SHINES IN 'SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS' AT TORONTO FILM FESTIVAL

We’re thrilled to celebrate four extraordinary films featuring the work of echo clients, all selected for the Special Presentations section at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival! 🎬✨

BAD APPLES’ - Directed by Jonatan Etzler, this satirical thriller stars Saoirse Ronan as a teacher driven to extremes by a violent student, revealing a community willing to ignore anything to preserve its peace. Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop.

CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN’’ - Actor James McAvoy makes his directorial debut in this wild, feel-good underdog tale based on a true story about two Scots faking it as Americans to pursue hip-hop fame. Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, BFDG.

ETERNAL RETURN’ - Directed by Yaniv Raz, this introspective drama follows Cass, a woman guarding herself against emotional pain—until she meets Virgil. Edited by echo’s Mark Everson, BFE.

ROSE OF NEVADA’ - Mark Jenkin’s film is an uncanny meditation on time, memory, and disappearance from one of Britain’s most distinctive auteurs. Costume Design by echo’s Jo Thompson.

The festival takes place 4–14 September 2025 in Toronto, Canada.
