MANCHESTER FILM FESTIVAL 2026 LINE-UP ANNOUNCED, FEATURING WORK BY ECHO CLIENTS!

We’re excited to share that projects featuring echo clients work will be part of the 2026 Manchester Film Festival.

Premieres and major screenings include ‘ROSE OF NEVADA’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Jo Thompson, directed by Mark Jenkin and starring George MacKay and Callum Turner.

'LADY' showcases Director of Photography by echo’s Korsshan Schlauer, Production Design by echo’s Agnieszka Debska, and Editing by echo’s Josh Mallalieu. Directed by Samuel Abrahams and starring Sian Clifford, the film will have its Manchester premiere.

'THE FALL OF SIR DOUGLAS WEATHERFORD' includes Director of Photography by echo’s David Gallego, ADFC and will also have its Manchester premiere, starring Peter Mullan.

The festival will close with 'CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN’, featuring echo’s Andy Drummond as Production Designer and marking the directorial debut of James McAvoy.

Manchester Film Festival runs from 19–29 March 2026.

THE BFI PRESENTS GREAT 8 SHOWCASE AT CANNES!

For the seventh year, the BFI is at Cannes with their 2024 GREAT 8 Showcase!

New UK feature films from fresh exciting filmmakers were shown on Thursday including work by our amazing echo artists clients!

The echo client films to watch out for within the line up are:

  • Bring Them Down – directed and written by Christopher Andrews with Production Design by Fletcher Jarvis and Cinematography by Nick Cooke

  • The Fall Of Sir Douglas Weatherford – directed and written by Sean Dunn starring Cinematography by David Gallego ADFC

  • On Falling – directed and written by Laura Carreira with Production Design by Andy Drummond and Hair + Make up by Kat Morgan

  • Surviving Earth (pictured) – directed and written by Thea Gajić featuring Production Design by Elena Muntoni and Costume Design by Oliver Cronk

  • Witches – directed and written by Elizabeth Sankey with Cinematography by Chloë Thomson
