‘CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN’ IN US CINEMAS NOW, WITH PRODUCTION DESIGN BY ECHO'S ANDY DRUMMOND!

CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN’, James McAvoy’s directorial debut, arrives in US cinemas today, featuring Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, BFDG.

James McAvoy directs the crazy-but-true story of two Scottish friends, Billy and Gavin, who reinvent themselves as Californian rap duo Silibil N’ Brains and pretend to be American to try and make it in the music industry.

CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN' premiered at TIFF, and was produced by Patriot Pictures and Homefront Productions for Bankside Films and StudioCanal.

It has been fantastic to see echo clients’ work featured across this year’s Glasgow Film Festival!

Highlights included:

‘ROSE OF NEVADA', featuring Costume Design by echo’s Jo Thompson, which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival, featured in the Toronto International Film Festival, and competed in the 69th BFI London Film Festival.

‘THE FALL OF SIR DOUGLAS WEATHERFORD', featuring echo’s David Gallego, ADFC, as Director of Photography, which premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam last month.

‘THE SON AND THE SEA’, featuring echo’s Ruben Woodin Dechamps as Director of Photography, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and featured at London Film Festival.

The festival will conclude with the UK premiere of 'CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN' tomorrow, the 8th of March, featuring Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, BFDG.
