‘BRAVE NEW LOVE’, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Maria von Hausswolff, screens today at the 79th Locarno Film Festival.

Written and directed by Swedish-Danish filmmaker Maria Bäck, the film is competing for the prestigious Golden Leopard in the Concorso Internazionale competition.

The 79th Locarno Film Festival runs until 15th August 2026.

‘AT NIGHT’ PREMIERES TODAY AT LOCARNO FILM FESTIVAL FEATURING WORK BY HOLLY REBECCA!

‘AT NIGHT’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Holly Rebecca, screens today at the 2026 Locarno Film Festival, where it will have its World Premiere in the Filmmakers of the Present competition.

Directed by Beatrice Gibson, the film follows six women in Paris. Supported by BBC Film, the feature is produced by Somesuch and Norte Productions.

The 79th Locarno Film Festival will run until the 15th August 2026.

We're pleased to share that ‘LEFTOVER WOMEN’ has been selected to have its World Premiere in the Short Cuts programme at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival, featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Diandra Ferreira.

Directed by Atalanta Swire and produced by Phoebe McNally and Karima Sammout-Kanellopoulou, the short joins this year's official TIFF line-up.

Selected for the Centrepiece programme, 'MARIE MADELEINE' will have its North American Premiere, featuring work by Director of Photography Nicolas Canniccioni. The film is directed by Géssica Généus.

Also screening in the Centrepiece programme, 'WHERE THE RIVER BEGINS' will have its World Premiere, featuring work by Director of Photography Nicolas Canniccioni. The film is directed by Juan Andrés Arango.

In the Wavelengths Features programme, 'AT NIGHT' will have its North American Premiere, featuring Costume Design by Holly Rebecca. The film is directed by Beatrice Gibson.

‘LADY’ screens at BFI Southbank today, followed by a Q&A with actor Sian Clifford and director Samuel Abrahams, hosted by broadcaster and film critic Anna Smith.

The mockumentary premiered at the 2025 BFI London Film Festival, and features work by echo’s Director of Photography Korsshan Schlauer, Production Designer Agnieszka Debska, and Editor Josh Mallalieu.

‘I AM HELEN’ TEASER REVEALED FEATURING WORK BY NORA ROBERTSON!

The teaser for ‘I AM HELEN’ has been revealed, featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Nora Robertson.

The next instalment in the BAFTA-winning Channel 4 anthology series stars Nicola Coughlan and Joe Cole, exploring the manosphere from a female perspective.

Created and directed by Dominic Savage, the film follows Helen and her love interest, played by Joe Cole, as he becomes increasingly immersed in the manosphere, revealing how its toxicity can impact modern relationships and those around them.

‘FIGHTLAND’ PREMIERES ON STARZ IN THE US!

‘FIGHTLAND’ is now available to stream on Starz in the US, featuring Editing by echo’s Matteo Bini and Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Nora Robertson.

Directed by Tessa Hoffe, Colm McCarthy, Sebastian Thiel and Otto Bathurst, and produced by Expanded Media and Starz, the series is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.

Starring Howard Charles as boxing champion Duke Kilroy, the series follows his return home after eight years in a U.S. prison, determined to settle the score with the man he believes betrayed him.

After winning the NEXT Innovator Award at Saundance, the trailer for ‘THE INCOMER’ has arrived, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop.

Written and directed by Louis Paxton, and produced by Shirley O'Connor, Emily Gotto and BFI, the comedy stars Domhnall Gleeson, Gayle Rankin, Grant O'Rourke, Emun Elliott, Michelle Gomez and John Hannah.

‘THE INCOMER’ has been selected to open the 2026 Edinburgh International Film Festival, which runs from 13–19 August.

The 2026 Venice International Film Festival line-up has been revealed, with several projects featuring work by echo clients selected across the programme.

In the Competition section, ‘PRIMETIME’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Alex Bovaird, has been selected to screen. Directed by Lance Oppenheim and produced by A24, the crime drama stars Robert Pattinson.

Also in the Competition section, ‘BUNKER’, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Ben Smithard, BSC. Directed by Florian Zeller and produced by Blue Morning Pictures and Sony Pictures Classics, the film continues its festival run following recent selections at Toronto.

The 83rd Venice International Film Festival takes place from 26th August – 5th September 2026.

‘THIS CITY IS OURS’ SEASON 2 TEASER RELEASED!

The first look at 'THIS CITY IS OURS' Season 2 has arrived, with the newly released teaser featuring editing by echo client Alastair Reid.

The eight-episode second season sees the return of James Nelson-Joyce, Hannah Onslow and Jack McMullen. Directed by Saul Dibb and produced by Left Bank Pictures and BBC, the new season is scheduled to premiere in Autumn 2026.

‘STUFFED’ has been selected as the Discovery Opening Film at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival, where it will have its World Premiere. The musical features work by echo’s Costume Designer Holly Rebecca.

Directed by Theo Rhys and produced by Agile Films and Cornerstone Films, the musical stars Jodie Comer and Harry Melling.

The film follows Araminta, a taxidermist who seeks to preserve a human specimen when Bernie volunteers himself for the unusual endeavour.

The Toronto International Film Festival 2026 will run from 10th – 20th September 2026.

Congratulations to projects featuring work by echo clients that have been longlisted for the 2026 Grierson Awards.

‘UNDERLAND’, featuring Cinematography by echo’s Ruben Woodin Dechamps, has been longlisted for the Sir David Attenborough Award for Best Science and Natural History Documentary. The film is directed by Robert Petit and produced by Hot Docs Partners and Oscilloscope Laboratories.

‘AILEEN: QUEEN OF THE SERIAL KILLERS’, featuring Co-Editing by echo’s Jinx Godfrey, ACE, has been longlisted for Best Crime and Justice Documentary. The documentary is directed by Emily Turner and produced by BBC Studios Documentary Unit and NBC News Studios.

The winners will be announced at the 2026 Grierson Awards on 10 November at the Roundhouse, London.

‘WILD’ COMING SOON TO CHANNEL 5!

Channel 5 has announced ‘WILD’, a new survival dramedy featuring Editing by echo’s Donya Majidi-Maguire BFE, as part of its revived Play for Today strand.

Originally broadcast between 1970 and 1984, Play for Today became one of British television's most influential drama strands. Renowned for its bold, socially conscious storytelling, it introduced audiences to many of the UK's most celebrated single dramas and featured work by acclaimed writers such as Ian McEwan and Dennis Potter, and prominent directors like Ken Loach and Mike Leigh.

Revived by Channel 5 in 2025, the strand continues its legacy of telling original stories rooted in contemporary British life.

Directed by David Blair, ‘WILD’ follows three old friends who set off on their annual camping trip in the Scottish Highlands, where an unsettling turn of events puts their friendship to the test. The film stars Daniel Mays, Joel Fry and Amit Shah.

BBC UNVEILS FIFA WORLD CUP 2026 FILM FEATURING WORK BY NATASHA LAWES!

The BBC has unveiled its new FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign film, ‘Let’s Make It Iconic’, featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Natasha Lawes.

Created by BBC Creative's James Briggs and Toby Derham, and directed by Nicos Livesey through Blinkink, the mixed-media film marks the broadcaster's build-up to the tournament with a bold and imaginative visual approach.

The campaign is now available to watch across the BBC’s platforms.

ADIDAS RELEASES ‘WHO’S JUDE’ CAMPAIGN FEATURING WORK BY NOËL SCHOOLDERMAN!

Adidas has unveiled its new football campaign, 'Who’s Jude’, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Noël Schoolderman.

Directed by Fabio de Frel, the film celebrates the launch of Jude Bellingham’s third signature Predator boot. Inspired by his Birmingham roots, the release is accompanied by an adidas Originals apparel collection and a matching pair of signature Superstars, paying tribute to the journey that shaped one of football’s biggest stars.

Evie Ward-Drummond and Amber Gadd also star in the film alongside Paapa Essiedu.
