‘LADY’ SCREENS AT BFI TODAY WITH Q&A!

‘LADY’ screens at BFI Southbank today, followed by a Q&A with actor Sian Clifford and director Samuel Abrahams, hosted by broadcaster and film critic Anna Smith.

The mockumentary premiered at the 2025 BFI London Film Festival, and features work by echo’s Director of Photography Korsshan Schlauer, Production Designer Agnieszka Debska, and Editor Josh Mallalieu.

Directed by Samuel Abrahams and produced by MetFilm Production, the film was shot entirely on location at Somerleyton Hall. Sian Clifford stars as a fictional aristocrat determined to draw attention to her lavish lifestyle by persuading a reluctant filmmaker to document her every move.

The upcoming feature film, LADY by director Samuel Abrahams has just wrapped!

Produced by MetFilm, the story focuses on a lonely, deluded aristocrat desperate for attention, who hires a reluctant director to film her every move. Her obsession with the spotlight takes a surreal turn when she starts becoming invisible.
