Delighted to share that echo’s Andy Drummond worked as Production Designer on Ffern’s newly released winter commercial, ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’.

Directed by Nora Fingscheidt and produced by Ffern, the video follows the quietly compelling story of a solitary lighthouse keeper navigating the seasonal shift into winter.

CRITICS CHOICE AWARDS WIN FOR ALL HER FAULT, EDITED BY ECHO’S DAN ROBERTS!

Huge congratulations to echo’s editor Dan Roberts, of ‘ALL HER FAULT’, which earned Sarah Snook the award for ‘Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television’ at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, which took place on January 4th.

Based on the novel by Andrea Mara, this crime thriller follows the parental panic and blame games that play out in the aftermath of a child’s disappearance. The eight-part series from creator Megan Gallagher, stars Sarah Snook, Jake Lacy and Dakota Fanning, and is directed by Minkie Spiro and Kate Dennis.

ECHO WORK FEATURED IN THE GUARDIAN’S TOP 50 FILMS OF 2025!

We’re so excited to see lots of echo client's work recognised in the Guardian’s list of the Top 50 Best Films of 2025 (UK):

BLUE MOON’, directed by Richard Linklater and shot by echo’s Shane F. Kelly came in at number 50. Ethan Hawke stars as the lyricist Lorenz Hart who spirals into despair after his split from Richard Rodgers.

At number 48, we have Kirk Jones’s ‘I SWEAR’ with editing by echo’s Sam Sneade. This moving film tells the story of John Davidson, the man who taught Britain about Tourette.

DEAD OF WINTER’, directed by Brian Kirk with editing by echo’s Tim Murrell, placed at number 29. Emma Thompson takes on the role of a grieving widow who stumbles into mortal peril trying to help a young captive whilst stuck in a deadly storm.

Coming in at number 20, we have Laura Carreira’s debut drama ‘ON FALLING’, with Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, BFDG. Joana Santos stars as a Portuguese worker in a Scottish warehouse, who endures dehumanising work conditions while looking for a way out

HARD TRUTHS’, directed by Mike Leigh and featuring Hair and Make Up Design by echo’s Nora Robertson comes in at number 18. Marianne Jean-Baptiste excels as Pansy, a deeply angry and depressed woman whose unresolved trauma manifests as relentless conflict with her family.

And in at number 15, we have ‘PILLION’, directed by Harry Lighton and featuring Production Design by echo’s Francesca Massariol and Hair and Make-Up Design by echo’s Diandra Ferreira. Alexander Skarsgård and Harry Melling play unlikely lovers in this sweet British Drama adapted from Adam Mars-Jones’s novel Box Hill.

SEASON 2 OF ‘THE NIGHT MANAGER’ PREMIERES 1 JANUARY!

Eight years after the first season, the spy-thriller returns, featuring the work of echo artists: Costume Design by Oliver Cronk, Editing by Napoleon Stratogiannakis, and Additional Editing on Episode 3 by John Dwelly BFE.

Written by show creator David Farr and directed by BAFTA award-winning Georgi Banks-Davies, the new season sees several favourites returning, including Tom Hiddleston, Olivia Colman, Alistair Petrie, Douglas Hodge, Michael Nardone, and Noah Jupe.

All episodes will be available to watch in the UK on BBC iPlayer and BBC One on 1st January.

We’re excited to share that the official trailer for 'A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS' has been released, featuring echo’s Federico Cesca, ADF ASK as Director of Photography.

The HBO fantasy drama series is a Game of Thrones prequel, adapted from George R. R. Martin’s beloved novella The Hedge Knight.

Directed by Owen Harris and Sarah Adina Smith, the series is coming to HBO on January 18th, with echo’s Federico bringing his cinematography to Smith’s episodes 3, 4, and 6.

‘PERFECTLY A STRANGENESS’ SHORTLISTED FOR THE 98TH ACADEMY AWARDS!

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced this week the shortlists for the 98th Academy Awards, including ‘PERFECTLY A STRANGENESS’ in the Documentary Short Film category.

Directed by Alison McAlpine, the short premiered at Cannes and features cinematography by echo’s Nicolas Canniccioni. It follows three donkeys as they journey across a vast and grand desert, exploring movement, discovery and quiet wonder.

The Academy Awards ceremony, where winners will be announced, takes place in March 2026

We are so proud to see echo’s Natasha Lawes work as Hair + Make-Up artist on the NSPCC Christmas campaign!

Directed by Sara Dunlop and Produced by The Corner Shop, the film highlights the heartbreaking reality many children face not only at Christmas, but every day of the year. It follows a young girl who enjoys the safety and comfort of a day at school, only to return home to a situation so troubling that she turns to the NSPCC for help.

It’s a simple, powerful story and a reminder of why the NSPCC’s support means so much to so many children.

Written and directed by Louis Paxton, ‘THE INCOMER’, with Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop, will make its World premiere in the festival’s ‘NEXT’ category. The film is produced by Shirley O’Connor and Emily Gotto and stars Domhnall Gleeson.

Directed by Molly Manners, ‘EXTRA GEOGRAPHY’, with Cinematography by echo’s Andrew Commis, ACS, will also make its World Premiere in the ‘World Cinema Dramatic Competition’. The film is written by Miriam Battye and produced by Sarah Brocklehurst with Brock Media.

Directed by Aidan Zamiri and starring Charli XCX, ‘THE MOMENT’ features Cinematography by echo’s Sean Price Williams and Hair + Make-Up Design by Loz Schiavo. This mockumentary film will premiere in the ‘Fiction' category.

Directed and co-written by Cathy Yan, ‘THE GALLERIST’ with Cinematography by echo’s Federico Cesca, ADF, ASK, stars Jenna Ortega and Natalie Portman. It will make its World Premiere in the 'Fiction' category.

Directed by Edward Lovelace and James Hall, the Courtney Love Documentary 'ANTIHEROINE' with Editing by echo’s Jinx Godfrey, ACE, will make its World Premiere in the festival’s ‘Documentary’ section.

Directed by Amir Bar-Lev, 'THE LAST FIRST: WINTER K2', this mountaineering documentary, featuring Cinematography by echo’s Will Pugh, will also make its World Premiere in the ‘Documentary’ category.

The Festival will be held from the 22nd January to the 1st February in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah. We are so excited!

After its successful premieres at the Berlin Film Festival and BFI London Film Festival this year, ‘DREAMERS’ officially released in selected UK and Irish cinemas last Friday (5th December).

This drama is produced by Quiddity Films and stars Ronkẹ Adékoluẹjo as Isio, a Nigerian migrant who is being detained in a UK Removal Centre. While Isio is waiting for her asylum request to be reviewed, she falls in love with her roommate, Farah, and the pair try to hold onto the hope that they will one day be free.

Studiocanal has unveiled the first look for ‘EVERYBODY WANTS TO F*CK ME’, a new dark comedy thriller produced by Parkville Pictures and Film 4 which will feature Production Design by echo’s Francesca Massariol.

Written and directed by Jonathan Schey, the film will star Taron Egerton, who appears in the first look image, as well as Jessica Henwick, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Charly Clive and Herbert Nordrum.
