GO WATCH ‘DREAMERS’ IN CINEMAS NOW WITH EDITING BY ECHO'S ARTTU SALMI, BFE!

Go watch Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor’s feature debut, ‘DREAMERS’, showcasing Editing by echo’s Arttu Salmi, BFE, in cinemas now!

After its successful premieres at the Berlin Film Festival and BFI London Film Festival this year, ‘DREAMERS’ officially released in selected UK and Irish cinemas last Friday (5th December).

This drama is produced by Quiddity Films and stars Ronkẹ Adékoluẹjo as Isio, a Nigerian migrant who is being detained in a UK Removal Centre. While Isio is waiting for her asylum request to be reviewed, she falls in love with her roommate, Farah, and the pair try to hold onto the hope that they will one day be free.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ECHO'S ALEX HOLMES AND OIAN ARTETA ON THEIR 2025 CICLOPE WINS!

We're thrilled to announce that both echo’s Alex Holmes and Oian Arteta have been recognised at the 2025 Ciclope Awards.

Alex Holmes has won Bronze in Production Design for his work on ‘SHOEMAKER’, a commercial for Telstra, produced by Revolver and directed by Steve Rogers.

Additionally, ‘I HATE HELEN’ has been awarded Gold, with Production Design by echo’s Oian Arteta! This short film was directed by Katie Lambert and produced by Stink.

LONDON FILM FESTIVAL 2025: ‘DREAMERS’ AND ‘THE SON AND THE SEA’

We are thrilled to announce that the 69th London Film Festival is set to screen ‘DREAMERS’ and ‘THE SON AND THE SEA’ tonight at the BFI Southbank!

With editing by echo’s Arttu Salmi BFE, Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor’s ‘DREAMERS’ is about love, faith and confinement. After its successful world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year, this British drama will feature as part of this year’s ‘First Feature Competition’ category.

In the ‘Journey’ category of the festival, Stroma Cairns' ‘THE SON AND THE SEA’, shot by echo’s Ruben Woodin Dechamps, explores vulnerability, hope and connection. After premiering at the San Sebastián Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival this year, this visually stunning feature will make its official UK debut tonight.
