HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO ECHO CLIENTS BEHIND ACADEMY AWARD–NOMINATED PROJECTS!

We’re thrilled to share that projects featuring echo clients have received Academy Award nominations this year.

With Cinematography by echo’s Shane F. Kelly, ‘BLUE MOON’ has been nominated for 'Best Original Screenplay' and 'Best Actor' (Ethan Hawke). Directed by Richard Linklater, the film offers a witty and heartfelt portrait of lyricist Lorenz Hart, who reflects on his past partnership with Richard Rodgers and the changing world of musical theatre.

‘PERFECTLY A STRANGENESS’ is nominated for ‘Best Documentary Short’, with echo’s Nicolas Canniccioni as Director of Photography. Directed by Alison McAlpine, the short premiered at Cannes and follows three donkeys as they journey across a vast and grand desert, exploring movement, discovery and quiet wonder.

The 98th Oscar’s will take place on Sunday 15th March in Hollywood at the Dolby Theatre.

Nominated for Best Supporting Female Actor in Television (Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Aimee Lou Wood) and Best Supporting Male Actor (Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs).

‘ALL HER FAULT’, created by Megan Gallagher and featuring editing by echo’s Dan Roberts. Nominated for Best Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television and for Best Female Actor (Sarah Snook) in the same category.

‘THE LAST OF US’, created by Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin, featuring editing by echo’s Simon Smith, ACE. Nominated for Best Female Actor Performance in a Television Series – Drama (Bella Ramsey).

‘ANDOR’, created by Tony Gilroy with editing by echo’s Yan Miles, ACE. Nominated for Best Male Actor Performance in a Television Series – Drama (Diego Luna).

The Golden Globes winners will be revealed at the ceremony on 11 January 2026, kicking off the Hollywood awards season and leading into the Oscars in March.
