HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO ECHO CLIENTS BEHIND ACADEMY AWARD–NOMINATED PROJECTS!

We’re thrilled to share that projects featuring echo clients have received Academy Award nominations this year.

With Cinematography by echo’s Shane F. Kelly, ‘BLUE MOON’ has been nominated for 'Best Original Screenplay' and 'Best Actor' (Ethan Hawke). Directed by Richard Linklater, the film offers a witty and heartfelt portrait of lyricist Lorenz Hart, who reflects on his past partnership with Richard Rodgers and the changing world of musical theatre.

‘PERFECTLY A STRANGENESS’ is nominated for ‘Best Documentary Short’, with echo’s Nicolas Canniccioni as Director of Photography. Directed by Alison McAlpine, the short premiered at Cannes and follows three donkeys as they journey across a vast and grand desert, exploring movement, discovery and quiet wonder.

The 98th Oscar’s will take place on Sunday 15th March in Hollywood at the Dolby Theatre.

'PERFECTLY A STRANGENESS' AND 'ON FALLING' AT TIFF TODAY!

Following its Cannes premiere, Alison McAlpine’s PERFECTLY A STRANGENESS will present the North American premiere at day two of TIFF today!

As part of TIFF’s Short Cuts programme, the silent short film follows three donkeys travelling across a vast and grandeur dessert on a journey of discovery with stellar Cinematography by echo’s Nicolas Canniccioni!

Earning a ‘Best Film’ nomination at this year’s upcoming San Sebastián International Film Festival, Laura Carreira’s debut feature ON FALLING will also be premiering today!

Produced by Sixteen Films and featuring Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond and Hair + Make-up Designer, Kat Morgan.

The drama centres on Aurora, a Portuguese worker navigating life in a Scottish warehouse.
