BEST OF LUCK TO ALL ECHO CLIENTS BEHIND ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATED PROJECTS!

We want to wish the best of luck to all projects featuring echo clients work at the Academy Award’s this weekend.

With Cinematography by echo’s Shane F. Kelly, ‘BLUE MOON’ has been nominated for 'Best Original Screenplay' and 'Best Actor'(Ethan Hawke). Directed by Richard Linklater, the film offers a witty and heartfelt portrait of lyricist Lorenz Hart, who reflects on his past partnership with Richard Rodgers and the changing world of musical theatre.

PERFECTLY A STRANGENESS’ is nominated for ‘Best Documentary Short’, with echo’s Nicolas Canniccioni as Director of Photography. Directed by Alison McAlpine, the short premiered at Cannes and follows three donkeys as they journey across a vast and grand desert, exploring movement, discovery and quiet wonder.

The 98th Oscar’s will take place this Sunday 15th March in Hollywood at the Dolby Theatre.

In aid of the Oscars on Sunday our TBT this week is to echo’s DoP Michael Paleodimos interview with Vanity Fair at the 2016 Academy Awards. Check out his reaction to STUTTERER, the film he shot, winning Best Live Action short here.

On that note - we would like to wish Michael and Costume Designer Sharon Long - who both worked on nominated short BLACK SHEEP - the very best of luck for Sunday night!!

"BLACK SHEEP" RECEIVES OSCAR NOMINATION!

We are very proud to congratulate Director of Photography Michael Paleodimos and Costume Designer Sharon Long for their work on Ed Perkin’s short film BLACK SHEEP which has received an Oscar Nomination for Best Documentary Short!

Congratulations also go to THE FAVOURITE, Additional Editor Sam Sneade and BORDER shot by Nadim Carlsen which both also received nominations. The award ceremony will take place Sunday 24th February in LA.
