"BLACK SHEEP" RECEIVES OSCAR NOMINATION!

We are very proud to congratulate Director of Photography Michael Paleodimos and Costume Designer Sharon Long for their work on Ed Perkin’s short film BLACK SHEEP which has received an Oscar Nomination for Best Documentary Short!

Congratulations also go to THE FAVOURITE, Additional Editor Sam Sneade and BORDER shot by Nadim Carlsen which both also received nominations. The award ceremony will take place Sunday 24th February in LA.

"BLACK SHEEP" SHORTLISTED THE OSCARS!

The Oscar nominations will be announced next week and we wanted to give a mention to Ed Perkins’ beautiful short documentary film, BLACK SHEEP, which has been shortlisted amongst only 10 other films. Shot by echo’s Michael Paleodimos and with costumes by echo’s Sharon Long the film is an emotional story of a young black teenager and his attempt to "fit in" with a white racist gang. After huge success at festivals this year, BLACK SHEEP, will be available to stream on The Guardian website today. Shot by the incredibly talented Michael Paleodimos and with costume design by the wonderful Sharon Long. The short doc, directed by Ed Perkins and produced by Lightbox for The Guardian, is a hard hitting and emotional story about a young black teenager who joins a white racist gang in order to fit in.

"BLACK SHEEP" WINS AT SHEFFIELD DOCUMENTARY FESTIVAL!

Congrats to BLACK SHEEP, the short documentary, directed by Ed Perkins and produced by Simon Chinn and Lightbox for The Guardian, which took home the prize for 'Best Short' at it's UK premiere at Sheffield International Documentary Festival yesterday. Shot by Michael Paleodimos with costume design by Sharon Long, the powerful story follows Cornelius, who joins the racist gang who have been persecuting him in order to 'fit in'.
