Television critic Lucy Mangan describes Isabella Eklöf’s 6-part series as a “heartbreaking screen adaptation of a father-and-son road trip where the dad relentlessly pursues sex”, which will ultimately “undo you”. Mangan goes on to laud the series for its perfect pacing where there is “no padding here, no eking out, nor desperate compressions”.

‘THE DEATH OF BUNNY MUNRO’ IS OUT TODAY!

All episodes of ‘THE DEATH OF BUNNY MUNRO’ are now available to stream on Sky and NOW!

Produced by Clerkenwell Films for Sky, ‘THE DEATH OF BUNNY MUNRO’ is an adaptation of Nick Cave's novel of the same name and follows Bunny, played by Matt Smith, as he attempts to raise his nine year old son Junior whilst maintaining his existence as a self-proclaimed womaniser travelling the roads.

Directed by Isabella Eklöf, this 6-part series features work by lots of echo clients: Director of Photography Nadim Carlsen DFF, Production Designer Alexandra Toomey, Costume Designer Holly Rebecca, and Editors Luke Dunkley, John Dwelly and Tony Kearns.

Episodes 1 and 2 premiered earlier this year as part of the ‘Special Presentations’ category at LFF and we are so excited to finally be able to find out what happens next!

Catch the official teaser trailer for ‘UNDER SALT MARSH’, featuring Editing by echo’s Alastair Reid. This six-part crime drama, set to launch on Sky and NOW in 2026, was created, written and directed by Claire Oakley with additional writing by Jonathan Harbottle and Nikita Lalwani, and episodes directed by Mary Nighy.

The Sky series follows Former-Detective-turned-Teacher, Jackie Ellis (played by Kelly Reilly), whom for three years has been ostracised by her small Welsh town community since the mysterious disappearance of her niece. With a storm brewing nearby, Jackie suddenly discovers the body of a young boy, forcing her and her former policing partner, Detective Eric Bull (Rafe Spall), into a race against the elements. Will they gather all the evidence they need to solve these two cold cases before it washes away?

The eight-part series from creator Megan Gallagher, stars Sarah Snook, Jake Lacy and Dakota Fanning, and is directed by Minkie Spiro and Kate Dennis.

Episodes 1 & 2 of ‘THE DEATH OF BUNNY MUNRO’ premieres at the London Film Festival next Monday (13th October) as part of the ‘Special Presentations’ category. The whole series will be available to view on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK on the 20th November.
