CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR CLIENTS WHOSE PHENOMENAL WORK WAS RECOGNISED AT THE BAFTA SCOTLAND AWARDS LAST NIGHT!

ON FALLING’, with Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, BFDG, which won the award for the Feature Film Prize and writer/director Laura Carreira won the Writer Film/Television Award.

THE OUTRUN’, with Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, BFDG, and Cinematography by echo’s Yunus Roy Imer, where director Nora Fingscheidt won the Director Fiction Prize and Saoirse Ronan won the Actress Film/Television Award.

LOCKERBIE: A SEARCH FOR TRUTH’, directed by Otto Bathurst and Jim Loach, with Editing by echo’s Dan Roberts, won the Television Scripted Award.

Also, shout out to Mikko Mäkelä's ‘SEBASTIAN', with Editing by Arttu Salmi, BFE, where Ruaridh Mollica was nominated for the Actor Film/Television Award.

Well done to all the amazing talent recognised at the awards in Glasgow last night (Sunday 16th November)!

EUROPEAN FILM AWARDS ANNOUNCES THE 2025 SHORTLIST

The official shortlist for the 38th European Film Awards has been announced, and we are delighted to confirm that the work of echo clients is among the list of 67 impressive feature films.

Congratulations to the teams behind Laura Carreira’s ‘ON FALLING', with Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, and Harry Lighton’s ‘PILLION', featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by Diandra Ferreira and Production Design by Francesca Massariol, on this prestigious recognition.

Nominations for this year’s awards will be fully unveiled on the 18th November in Seville and the awards take place on the 17th January in Berlin!

  • 'ON FALLING' featuring Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, for which writer and director Laura Carreira was selected for Best Debut Screenwriter and The Douglas Hickox Award (Best Debut Director)

  • THE BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND’ showcasing Production Design by echo’s Alexandra Toomey, where Tom Basden and Tim Key were chosen for the Best Debut Screenwriter Longlist

  • DREAMERS’ with Editing by echo’s Arttu Salmi, BFE, for which writer and director Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor was selected for Best Debut Screenwriter and The Douglas Hickox Award

  • 'PILLION' featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by Diandra Ferreira and Production Design by Francesca Massariol, where writer and director Harry Lighton was picked for Best Debut Screenwriter and The Douglas Hickox Award

  • THE SON AND THE SEA’ showcasing cinematography by echo’s Ruben Woodin Dechamps, which made writer and director Stroma Cairns make the longlist for The Douglas Hickox Award and Best Debut Screenwriter alongside co-writer Imogen West.

Nominees will be announced on Monday 3rd November, with this year’s winner revealed at the BIFA awards ceremony on Sunday 30th November.
