Starring Sian Clifford, LADY is now out in US cinemas, with cinematography by Korsshan Schlauer, production design by Agnieszka Dębska, and edited by Josh Mallalieu.

Samuel Abrahams' debut feature is a loopy and moving mockumentary that stars Fleabag’s Sian Clifford as a delusional aristocrat who convinces a struggling film director (Laurie Kynaston) to capture her every move.

LADY has received rave reviews from the New York Times, Variety, The Guardian, and Empire, which called it “an engrossing study of invisible womanhood that plays out with bizarre hilarity and emotional sensitivity.”

Produced by Anna Mohr-Pietsch and Stewart Le Marechal for MetFilm, LADY premiered at the BFI London Film Festival last year.

NEW C4 SERIES ‘PIERRE’ AIRS TONIGHT, FEATURING WORK BY ECHO’S DIANDRA FERREIRA!

New series PIERRE lands tonight at 9pm on C4, featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Diandra Ferreira. 

The new 6-part original drama stars David Harewood as a charming, fast-talking London solicitor whose client dies in suspicious circumstances, setting him on a risky course to expose the truth.

Episode 1 airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 4, then weekly in the same slot — with the full series available to stream on Channel 4 after tonight’s episode.

The series is directed by Sarmad Masud and Sean Spencer, co-written by Roy Williams and John Donnelly, and produced by The Lighthouse for Channel 4.

BAFTA SCOTLAND AWARDS 2026 NOMINATIONS: ‘I SWEAR’ + ‘CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN’ FEATURING ECHO CLIENTS' WORK!

BAFTA Scotland Awards 2026 Nominations include I SWEAR edited by echo’s Sam Sneade BFE, and CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN' with production design by echo’s Andy Drummond, BFDG.

I SWEAR topped the nominations, with 7 nominations including Best Film, Best Director (Fiction), Best Writer (Film/TV), 3 x Best Actor (Film) for Peter Mullan, Robert Aramayo, Scott Ellis Watson, and Best Actress (Film) for Shirley Henderson.

CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN’, James McAvoy’s directorial debut, has been nominated for Best Actress (Film) for Lucy Halliday.

Peter Mullan (I SWEAR) was also nominated for the publicly-voted Audience Award for Favourite Scot on Screen.

The BAFTA Scotland Awards will take place on 15 November 2026.

THE LAST FIRST: WINTER K2 feature documentary lands in select cinemas and on Apple TV today, featuring cinematography by echo’s Will Pugh. 

Directed by Amir Bar-Lev, the film premiered at Sundance this year — it chronicles a historic race to complete the first winter ascent of K2 which turns into a tragedy, revealing that human ambition, ego and the pursuit of glory can be as lethal as the mountain itself. 

The film releases today in Curzon Cinemas in the UK, and globally on Apple TV. It was produced by Propagate Content, Ventureland, Object Studios and West Buttermilk.

AT NIGHT, director Beatrice Gibson’s feature debut, featuring Costume Design by Holly Rebecca, is screening across the weekend as part of the Currents program in its US premiere. The film recently won Best Emerging Director at Locarno.

PRIMETIME is out now in US cinemas, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Alex Bovaird.

Starring Robert Pattinson and produced by A24, the biographical psychological thriller is directed by Lance Oppenheim in his narrative feature debut. The film is based on an Esquire Magazine investigation into the early 2000s TV programme ‘To Catch A Predator’ and its hidden-camera operations led by Chris Hansen.

PRIMETIME had its world premiere in September in competition at the 83rd Venice Film Festival.

THE INCOMER arrives in US cinemas today, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop.

Written and directed by Louis Paxton in his feature debut, the surreal comedy stars Domhnall Gleeson and is produced by Shirley O’Connor and Emily Gotto for Pilea Pictures, Keeper Pictures, Trevor Noah’s Day Zero Productions, Moby’s Little Walnut, Screen Scotland and BFI.

Set on a remote Scottish island, the film follows a brother and sister who live by hunting seabirds and sharing stories of their ancestors, until the arrival of feared newcomers threatens their way of life.

The film premiered at Sundance in January this year where it won the NEXT Innovator Award, before opening the Edinburgh International Film Festival in August.

We’re pleased to share that STAGES, the feature directorial debut of Sonoya Mizuno (Ex Machina, House of the Dragon), has been announced, featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Natasha Lawes.

The film’s cast includes Julie Delpy, Takehiro Hira, Kathryn Hunter, Kate Dickie and Emma D’Arcy, and is produced by Alex Garland, Peter Rice, Agile Films, Film4 and A24.

The film follows a young dancer at an elite ballet school who finally earns the lead in a prestigious recital, but whose focus is shattered by a family tragedy.

New legal drama THE SPLIT UP launched last night on BBC One and iPlayer, with echo’s Jesse Parker editing Episodes 4 and 6. 

From the makers of hit series The Split (SISTER Pictures and Abi Morgan’s Little Chick), THE SPLIT UP centres around a family of prestigious divorce lawyers in Manchester, where rising star Aria (Ritu Arya) is poised to take over from her father, but faces turmoil when a past secret resurfaces.

Written by Ursula Rani Sarma with Abi Morgan as executive producer, the series was directed by Shamim Sharif and Khurrum M. Sultan. Guest stars include Lenny Henry, Jane Horrocks, Jameela Jamil and Adam Woodward.

Episodes air on BBC One at 9pm on Sundays and Mondays, with all six episodes available now on BBC iPlayer.
