Directed by Leigh Whannell and produced by Universal Pictures, the science fiction horror stars Elisabeth Moss as a woman who believes she is being stalked by her abusive ex-partner after his apparent death.

Alex's work on THE INVISIBLE MAN earned him a nomination for Best Production Design at the 2020 AACTA Awards.

SUNDANCE-SELECTED DOC ‘THE LAST FIRST: WINTER K2’ LANDS TODAY, FEATURING WORK BY ECHO’S WILL PUGH!

THE LAST FIRST: WINTER K2 feature documentary lands in select cinemas and on Apple TV today, featuring cinematography by echo’s Will Pugh. 

Directed by Amir Bar-Lev, the film premiered at Sundance this year — it chronicles a historic race to complete the first winter ascent of K2 which turns into a tragedy, revealing that human ambition, ego and the pursuit of glory can be as lethal as the mountain itself. 

The film releases today in Curzon Cinemas in the UK, and globally on Apple TV. It was produced by Propagate Content, Ventureland, Object Studios and West Buttermilk.

Bold new legal drama WAR is now available to watch, with echo’s Eve Doherty as Editor of two episodes of the series for HBO and Sky.

Starring Sienna Miller, Dominic West, Marisa Tomei and Kelly Macdonald, the ‘explosive’ series follows two top London law firms that clash over a shocking divorce case that rocks the legal world.

Created by George Kay, directed by China Moo Young, Ben Taylor and Jennifer Sheridan, and produced by New Pictures and Observatory Pictures for HBO and Sky.

Episodes of WAR will land weekly at 9pm Fridays on Sky and NOW (UK) / 9pm Thursdays on HBO Max (US).

Director Molly Manners' stylish and nostalgic feature debut stars Marni Duggan and Galaxie Clear as two best friends in their final year at boarding school in the early 2000s.

Written by Miriam Battye and adapted from a short story by Rose Tremain, the film was produced by Sarah Brocklehurst for Brock Media, Film4 and the BFI.

EXTRA GEOGRAPHY had its World Premiere at Sundance, followed by a UK premiere at Edinburgh Film Festival.

The latest official teaser for HBO’s HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE has arrived, with echo’s Simon Smith, ACE editing an episode!

Starring Paapa Essiedu, John Lithgow and Dominic McLaughlin, the highly anticipated series is set to premiere worldwide on 25 December 2026 on HBO / HBO Max.

Produced by HBO, Warner Bros Television, Brontë Film & TV and Heyday Films, the series is planned to be a faithful ten-year adaptation, with each season focusing on one of the seven novels.

Encounters Film Festival 2026 selections MISSION, RENO and VOTE GAVIN LYLE feature work by echo clients.

MISSION, by BAFTA-winning director Paul Wright and starring George MacKay, was shot by echo’s Nick Cooke, and screened last week in its English Premiere. 

RENO, director Rob Hifle’s sci-fi short, was edited by echo’s Sam Sneade BFE, screening in its European Premiere. 

VOTE GAVIN LYLE, directed by Academy Award-winner Aneil Karia and starring Jack Lowden, features Production Design by echo’s Alex Toomey and Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Natasha Lawes. 

Encounters 2026 took place in Bristol across last week, 23-27 Sept.

TENDER LOVING CARE, by acclaimed director Mike Leigh, features Hair + Make Up Design by Nora Robertson – and just won 3 of the top awards at San Sebastian. Mike Leigh will give a talk today at 4pm ET ahead of the 6pm screening.

AT NIGHT, director Beatrice Gibson’s feature debut, featuring Costume Design by Holly Rebecca, is screening across the weekend as part of the Currents program in its US premiere. The film recently won Best Emerging Director at Locarno. 

NYFF 2026 runs from 25 Sept - 12 Oct.

PRIMETIME is out now in US cinemas, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Alex Bovaird.

Starring Robert Pattinson and produced by A24, the biographical psychological thriller is directed by Lance Oppenheim in his narrative feature debut. The film is based on an Esquire Magazine investigation into the early 2000s TV programme ‘To Catch A Predator’ and its hidden-camera operations led by Chris Hansen.

PRIMETIME had its world premiere in September in competition at the 83rd Venice Film Festival.

THE INCOMER arrives in US cinemas today, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop.

Written and directed by Louis Paxton in his feature debut, the surreal comedy stars Domhnall Gleeson and is produced by Shirley O’Connor and Emily Gotto for Pilea Pictures, Keeper Pictures, Trevor Noah’s Day Zero Productions, Moby’s Little Walnut, Screen Scotland and BFI.

Set on a remote Scottish island, the film follows a brother and sister who live by hunting seabirds and sharing stories of their ancestors, until the arrival of feared newcomers threatens their way of life.

The film premiered at Sundance in January this year where it won the NEXT Innovator Award, before opening the Edinburgh International Film Festival in August.

We’re pleased to share that STAGES, the feature directorial debut of Sonoya Mizuno (Ex Machina, House of the Dragon), has been announced, featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Natasha Lawes.

The film’s cast includes Julie Delpy, Takehiro Hira, Kathryn Hunter, Kate Dickie and Emma D’Arcy, and is produced by Alex Garland, Peter Rice, Agile Films, Film4 and A24.

The film follows a young dancer at an elite ballet school who finally earns the lead in a prestigious recital, but whose focus is shattered by a family tragedy.

NEW SERIES ‘THE SPLIT UP’ DEBUTS ON BBC ONE + IPLAYER! FEATURING WORK BY ECHO’S JESSE PARKER

New legal drama THE SPLIT UP launched last night on BBC One and iPlayer, with echo’s Jesse Parker editing Episodes 4 and 6. 

From the makers of hit series The Split (SISTER Pictures and Abi Morgan’s Little Chick), THE SPLIT UP centres around a family of prestigious divorce lawyers in Manchester, where rising star Aria (Ritu Arya) is poised to take over from her father, but faces turmoil when a past secret resurfaces.

Written by Ursula Rani Sarma with Abi Morgan as executive producer, the series was directed by Shamim Sharif and Khurrum M. Sultan. Guest stars include Lenny Henry, Jane Horrocks, Jameela Jamil and Adam Woodward.

Episodes air on BBC One at 9pm on Sundays and Mondays, with all six episodes available now on BBC iPlayer.

Directed by Molly Manners, written by Miriam Battye and produced by Sarah Brocklehurst for Brock Media, the film is set in an English girls’ boarding school and follows two teenage best friends as they navigate friendship, relationships and the intensity of growing up.

EXTRA GEOGRAPHY had its World Premiere in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and was also selected for the 2026 Edinburgh Film Festival.

‘LEFTOVER WOMEN’ SCREENS AT TIFF TODAY!

Following its World Premiere at TIFF on Friday, LEFTOVER WOMEN will screen once more today as part of the Short Cuts programme, featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Diandra Ferreira.

Directed by Atalanta Swire, the comedy short follows Erin (Anjana Vasan), summoned by a government order that goes out to all single women on their 35th birthday telling them they are now classified as ‘Leftover’ and will need to be processed.

It was produced by Phoebe McNally and Karima Sammout-Kanellopoulou, and commissioned by WePresent.
