‘JEAN-MICHEL’ SET FOR TRIBECA PREMIERE, FEATURING ECHO’S DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY JO JO LAM!

We’re pleased to share that 'JEAN-MICHEL', a feature documentary on Jean-Michel Basquiat, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Jo Jo Lam, will premiere at Tribeca Film Festival this summer as part of the Documentary Competition.

Directed by Viridiana Lieberman and Quinn Whitney Wilson, the film offers an intimate look at one of the 20th century’s most celebrated and imitated artists, told through the perspective of his family.

'JEAN-MICHEL' premieres on 5th June, with Tribeca running from 3rd –14th June 2026.

"IN FABRIC" AT TRIBECA: ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS

A huge success at festivals already, Peter Strickland’s IN FABRIC is screening at Tribeca today! The horror film - with a comedy twist - tells the story of a haunted red dress that proves to be possessed while passing from one owner to the other! Costumes were designed by echo's Jo Thompson and Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Emma Scott.

"LOST TRANSMISSIONS": ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS!

Premiering today at Tribeca is Katherine O’Brien’s LOST TRANSMISSIONS! Edited by echo’s Yannis Chalkiadakis and starring Simon Pegg and Juno Temple, the film which is set in the grit and glamour of LA, focuses on Pegg’s character who after lapsing on his schizophrenia medication, begins to have colourful delusions!

"CHERNOBYL" : ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS!

The highly anticipated series, CHERNOBYL, will have it’s World Premiere at Tribeca tonight! The series, directed by Johan Renck, is based on the horrific 1986 explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Edited by echo’s Jinx Godfrey and Simon Smith - we can’t wait for it to be on our televisions next month!

"RUN": ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS!

Tribeca Film Festival kicked off yesterday and Scott Graham’s RUN has it’s World Premiere tomorrow! Set in contemporary Scotland the film is nominated at the festival for Best International Feature and hosts brilliant production design by echo’s Andy Drummond.
