THE BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL 2020 LINEUP IS ANNOUNCED!
This years London Film Festival lineup has been announced and we are excited to see the following client projects in the selection: Bassam Tariq’s MOGUL MOWGL which features Hair + Make Up Design by Bean Ellis and Additional Photography by Michael Paleodimos; Lena Dunham’s series INDUSTRY which Bean also designed; LIMBO, directed by Ben Sharrock, shot by DoP Nick Cooke, Production Design by Andy Drummond, Costume Design by Holly Rebecca and Eve Doherty as First Assistant Editor; Cathy Brady’s WILDFIRE cut by Editor Matteo Bini; Caroline Catz’ DELIA DERBYSHIRE: THE MYTHS AND LEGENDARY TAPES, costume design by Jo Thompson and Hair + Make Up for the teaser by My Alehammar; short film AN EVERYDAY ACT also shot by DoP Nick Cooke and cut by Editor Andonis Trattos; and Luna Carmoon’s SHAGBANDS lensed by DoP Rachel Clark.
This years LFF takes places between 7th - 18th of October with some in person screenings but with a largely online screenings.

Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui’s RISING PHOENIX is out on Netflix today! DoP Will Pugh, regular collaborator of Bonhôte and Ettendgui, shot the documentary, which reflects on the Paralympic Games, it’s history and how it impacts a global understanding of disability.
"TESLA" IS OUT TODAY IN THE US TODAY!
TESLA it out in the US today! The film, directed by Michael Almereyda, screened at this year’s Sundance Film Fest and is shot by echo’s Director of Photography Sean Price Williams. Ethan Hawke stars in the biopic as famous inventor Nikola Tesla.

THE NEW T-MOBILE COMMERCIAL "THIS GENERATION" HAS DROPPED!
The new T-Mobile/Deutsche Telekom ad THIS GENERATION has been released! The spot, directed by Vincent Haycock and with costume design by echo’s Larissa Bechtold, features Billie Eilish helping highlight how Gen Z are challenging the negative perceptions around how much they use technology and that they are using the digital world to campaign for things they care about!
"FRENCH EXIT" TO CLOSE NEW YORK FILM FESTIVAL!
Azazel Jacobs FRENCH EXIT will close New York Film Festival this year! An adaptation of Patrick deWitt’s novel, the film stars Oscar nominated Michelle Pfeiffer as a Manhattan socialite who moves to Paris with her son (played by Lucas Hedges) with the small amount of her inheritance she has left. The costume design is by echo’s Jane Petrie.
The festival will run from 25th Sept - 11th October and will combine a brand-new virtual presence with carefully designed outdoor screenings.
"UNSAID STORIES: GENERATIONAL" AIRS ON ITV TONIGHT AT 9PM!
The new short form series UNSAID STORIES, which is inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, airs tonight on ITV. Tune in at 9pm to the first film in the collection, GENERATIONAL, directed by Alrick Riley and cut by echo’s Editor Sarah Brewerton.

TIFF 2020 lineup has been released! Included in this years announcement is Cathy Brady’s WILDFIRE (pictured), cut but Editor Matteo Bini; Ben Sharrock’s LIMBO, shot by Nick Cooke, designed by PD Andy Drummond, with costumes by Holly Rebecca and Eve Doherty as First Assistant Editor; THE THIRD DAY will also screen at the fest which Editors Simon Smith, Dan Roberts and Luke Dunkley all worked on, alongside DoP David Chizallet, AFC.
This years fest will be a “reimagined physical and digital festival” and will run from 10th - 19th September!
