Jonathan Glazer’s ‘SEXY BEAST’ (2001), edited by echo’s Sam Sneade, was recently featured in The Guardian’s ‘The Seven Best Films to Watch on TV This Week’, highlighting the film’s enduring impact as a modern British classic. The film is available to watch on Channel 4.

Sam also edited the iconic 1999 Guinness ‘Surfer’ commercial, directed by Jonathan Glazer and created by AMV BBDO, which was honoured during the British Arrows 2026 celebrations, marking 50 years of British advertising. The commercial was ranked the 3rd best British ad of all time in a poll announced in March 2026.

A testament to the lasting impact of Sam’s work across both film and advertising.

We’re pleased to share ‘Who are ya?’ campaign, directed by Spike Lee for Arsenal, featuring Costume Design by echo’s George Buxton.

Produced by Uncommon, the short film brings together a cast of actors, players, supporters and club legends, including Thierry Henry, Rachel Yankey and Aaron Pierre.

What begins as a familiar pub debate soon shifts, as the conversation moves beyond tactics and players into the financial language of modern football, reflecting the growing awareness supporters have of the business behind the game.

‘MARIE MADELEINE’ SET TO PREMIERE AT THE 2026 CANNES FILM FESTIVAL!

We’re pleased to share that ‘MARIE MADELEINE’, featuring echo’s Director of Photography Nicolas Canniccioni, has been selected to premiere at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.

The film is a new feature by Gessica Généus, continuing her exploration of identity and culture.

The Cannes Film Festival runs from 12th –23rd May 2026.

‘THE CAGE’, a five-part BBC crime thriller, is now out on BBC, featuring editing by echo’s Kim Gaster on episodes 1, 3 and 5.

Written by Tony Schumacher and directed by Al Mackay, the series stars Sheridan Smith and Michael Socha. Set in Liverpool, it follows two casino workers who secretly steal from the same safe, setting off a dangerous game of survival.

‘SURVIVING EARTH’ OUT IN CINEMAS TODAY!

We’re delighted to share that ‘SURVIVING EARTH’ is out in cinemas today, with Costume Design by echo’s Oliver Cronk.

Written and directed by Thea Gajić in her feature debut, the film follows Yugoslavian refugee Vlad as he builds a new life in Bristol while battling addiction. It premiered at the SXSW Film & TV Festival 2025, with further screenings at the Cannes Film Festival 2025 and the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2025.

ISABELLE STACHTCHENKO INTERVIEW FEATURES IN CINEMATOGRAPHY WORLD!

We’re pleased to share that echo’s Director of Photography, Isabelle Stachtchenko, was recently featured in Cinematography World. She discusses her work on ‘UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE’, Matthew Rankin’s surreal comedy.

In the article, Isabelle shares her process, from selecting cameras, to long takes and minimal lighting. She reflects on shooting in extreme winter conditions and how the camera playfully guides the viewer.

The film won the Audience Award at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, was Canada’s Oscar submission for Best International Feature, and earned Isabblle a Special Jury Prize at Montclair.
