ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS: "MUSCLE"!
Coming into the last couple of days of the London Film Festival 2019 and excited to see Gerard Johnson’s MUSCLE! The film is shot by echo’s DoP Stuart Bentley, BSC and co-designed by Production Designer Bobbie Cousins and is screening over the next 3 days.
"AMERICAN WOMAN" OUT TODAY!
Jake Scott’s AMERICAN WOMAN is released in the UK today! Costumes were designed by Alex Bovaird and the film, starring Christina Hendricks and Sienna Miller, screened at Toronto Film Festival last year.

Today at London Film Festival you can see both shorts MARTHA and END-O! MARTHA, featuring in the “London Calling” screening, directed by Christopher Haydon and with production design by Sarah Jenneson; and Alice Seabrights’s END-O with production design by Bobbie Cousins which screens in “Push The Button”! Henry Blake’s COUNTY LINES had it’s World Premiere at the London Film Festival yesterday - if you missed it you can still catch the screenings tonight or on Sunday! Make sure to look out for the costume design by Sharon Long.

ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS: "NOCTURNAL" AND "VIVARIUM"!
Into the second week of LFF and screening at the fest today is NOCTURNAL, Nathalie Biancheri’s first feature, cut by echo’s Editor Andonis Trattos AND Lorcan Finnegan's VIVARIUM, which was nominated for the Cannes Critics Week Grand Prize this year, and shot by echo’s DoP MacGregor.
ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS: "BAD EDUCATION"!
After rave reviews at TIFF, Corey Finley’s BAD EDUCATION is premiering at London Film Festival today! The black comedy, starring Hugh Jackman, features costume design by Finley’s regular collaborator, Alex Bovaird and is based on a true story about a school embezzlement scandal.

Ruth Paxton’s short film, BE STILL MY BEATING HEART, premieres at London Film Festival today! Designed by Alexandra Toomey, it will feature in the “When You Think You Know How It Ends” section of the festival.

After being nominated at Tribeca earlier in the year Scott Graham’s RUN will screen at LFF today! The film, with a small town Scotland backdrop, is designed by echo’s brilliant production designer Andy Drummond.
ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS: "MAKE UP"!
Claire Oakley’s MAKE UP screens at LFF today! The film is nominated in the First Feature Competition at the fest and produced by BAFTA winning producer Emily Morgan (I AM NOT A WITCH). It was cut by echo Editor Sacha Szwarc and shot by Director of Photography Nick Cooke.

Philip Martin’s CATHERINE THE GREAT airs tonight at 9pm on Sky Atlantic and Now TV! ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS: "PERFECT 10"!
BFI London Film Festival 2019 kicks off today and as usual we will be documenting our client’s films through our Festival Focus series! First up is Eva Riley’s PERFECT 10 which has it’s World Premiere tomorrow! The first feature from Riley, who was nominated for the Palme d’Or at Cannes, features work from echo’s Production Designer Sarah Jenneson and Costume Designer Susie Coulthard.
EDITOR ALASTAIR REID FINISHES ON BBC "THE LUMINARIES"!
Editor, Alastair Reid, will soon finish on the BBC’s new mini-series THE LUMINARIES! Al is Supervising Editor on all episodes, based on Eleanor Catton’s Man Booker prize-winning novel. The series is directed by Claire McCarthy and stars Himesh Patel, Eva Green and Eve Hewson.

"JUDY" IS OUT IN THE US TODAY!
After screening to rave reviews at both TIFF and Telluride this year - JUDY is out today in the US! Rupert Goold’s highly anticipated biopic features Production Design by Kave Quinn and stars Renée Zellweger as Judy Garland.
Good news though UK - it opens here next week on 2nd October.
TBT: "BRIGITTE" AT VENICE FILM FESTIVAL!
Throwing it back to these beautiful images shot by Brigitte Lacombe from the short film BRIGITTE! The film, directed by Lynne Ramsay, screened at Venice earlier this month and features production design by Laura Ellis-Cricks and costume design by Sarah Blenkinsop. It is the 18th commission from Miu Miu Women’s Tales, the short film series that champions female directors to investigate vanity and femininity in the 21st century. SCOTTISH BAFTA NOMINATIONS 2019!
The nominations for this year’s Scottish BAFTAs are out! Congratulations to Production Designer Andy Drummond who designed Harry Wootliff’s ONLY YOU, which is nominated for Best Feature Film; and to Editor Alastair Reid for his work on THE CRY which is nominated for Best Scripted Television award.
The ceremony will take place in Glasgow on Sunday 3rd of November!

PRIMETIME EMMY WINNERS!
The Emmy’s were held over 2 weekends this year and the final winners were announced last night! Johan Renck’s CHERNOBYL, Edited by Jinx Godfrey and Simon Smith took home an amazing 10 awards including Simon’s win last weekend for Best Editing and Outstanding Limited Series which was announced yesterday. BLACK MIRROR: BANDERSNATCH which featured Hair + Make-Up Design by Kirstin Chalmers also won for Outstanding Television Movie.

BAFTA, BIFA and Golden Globe nominated film, STAN + OLLIE, is now available to watch on Amazon Prime! The 1950s costumes are designed by the ever brilliant Guy Speranza, who received a BIFA nomination for his work.
"BLACK SHEEP" IS NOMINATED FOR A GRIERSON AWARD!
BLACK SHEEP is nominated for Best Documentary Short at this year’s Grierson Awards! Directed by Ed Perkins, the film, which was also nominated for an Oscar this year, was shot by the brilliant Michael Paleodimos and features costume design by the wonderful Sharon Long.
The awards ceremony takes place in London on 14th of November!
