LONDON FILM FESTIVAL 2025: ‘PILLION’ AND ‘THE HISTORY OF SOUND’

Echo is proud to see Harry Lighton’s ‘PILLION’ and Oliver Hermanus' ‘THE HISTORY OF SOUND’ premiering in the UK this Saturday (18th October) at the 69th BFI London Film Festival.

Showcasing work by echo’s Hair + Make-Up Designer Diandra Ferreira and Production Designer Francesca Massariol, ‘PILLION’ stars Alexander Skarsgård and Harry Melling exploring power dynamics, intimacy and identity.

Starring Paul Mescal and Josh O'Connor, and featuring Costume Supervision (UK) by echo’s Paix Robinson, ‘THE HISTORY OF SOUND’ is a story about closeted love, music, passion and remembrance.

In May, these incredibly moving LGBTQ+ romance films made their successful run at the Cannes Film Festival, where ‘PILLION’ won the Un Certain Regard Award for Best Screenplay and ‘THE HISTORY OF SOUND’ was nominated for the Palme d'Or. Now, we are thrilled for them to make their UK debut tomorrow at London’s Southbank Centre as part of LFF’s ‘Headline Galas’ category.

FRANK GALLACHER TAKES ON COSTUME FOR NEW ‘WORLD OF INTERIORS' MAGAZINE SHOOT, INSPIRED BY ‘JANE ASHER’S FANCY DRESS’.

For a costume feature in September’s THE WORLD OF INTERIORS, shot inside the ICA in London, echo’s Costume Designer Frank Gallacher turned everyday household objects into surreal, wearable sculptures.

Joanna Lumley, Richard E. Grant, and Kathryn Hunter all took part in the shoot, fully embracing the strange and theatrical looks.

Directed by Naghmeh Pour and Produced by Newland TV, 'Pink Sky at Night' is a short film-style commercial from Ffern featuring Bill Nighy, about two siblings who discover an old ice cream van in a garage and take it on a journey through Cornwall.

The ad features several echo clients: Ruben Woodin Dechamps as Director of Photography, Ricky Eyres leading Production Design, Frank Gallacher on Costume Design and Natasha Lawes on Hair + Make Up.

SPECSAVERS' HEARTWARMING NEW AD FOR CHILDREN'S VISION, FEATURES THE WORK OF ECHO CLIENTS!

Specsavers’ new commercial, 'The Wonder of Children Seeing', is a joyful, child’s-eye-view ad that highlights how undiagnosed vision issues can affect children.

Directed by Dan Emmerson and produced by Somesuch, the commercial is brought to life with echo's Ruben Woodin Dechamps Cinematography, Bobbie Cousins’ Production Design, and Buki Ebiesuwa’s vibrant Costumes.
