‘THE INCOMER’ OUT IN CINEMAS!

After premiering at Sundance (winning the NEXT Innovator Award) and opening this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival, THE INCOMER is now out in cinemas across the UK and Ireland, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop.

Starring Domhnall Gleeson, THE INCOMER is writer and director Louis Paxton’s feature debut, with Paxton recently named among Rising Stars Scotland 2026. The film is produced by Shirley O’Connor and Emily Gotto for Pilea Pictures, Screen Scotland and BFI.

The uniquely surreal comedy is set on a remote Scottish island, and follows a man and his sister who survive by hunting seabirds and sharing stories of their ancestors, as they face the arrival of feared newcomers and fight to protect their home.

2026 BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL LINE-UP ANNOUNCED, FEATURING ECHO CLIENT WORK!

The 2026 BFI London Film Festival line-up has been announced, featuring work by several echo clients across the festival’s Galas, Laugh, Dare, Thrill and Journey programmes.

In the Galas programme, BUNKER features Cinematography by echo’s Ben Smithard, BSC. Directed by Florian Zeller, the film stars Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz.

The Laugh programme presents IT GETS WORSE, edited by echo’s Josh Mallalieu on episodes 2, 4 +6, and directed by Mounia Akl.

MARIE MADELEINE will screen in the Dare programme, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Nicolas Canniccioni and directed by Géssica Généus.

Also in the Dare programme, AT NIGHT features Costume Design by echo’s Holly Rebecca, and is directed by Beatrice Gibson.

The Thrill programme features BLACK CHURCH BAY, directed by Rhys Marc Jones and featuring Production Design and Costume Design by echo’s Paix Robinson, BFDG.

In the Journey programme, IN THE SHADOWS features Production Design by echo’s Paix Robinson, BFDG, and is directed by Anthony Wonke.

Also screening in the Journey programme is VISIONQUEST, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Ben Smithard, BSC on episodes 5 + 6 and directed by Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, Vincenzo Natali and Terry Matalas.

LAUNDREAMS will screen as part of the Call Your Bluff short film compilation, featuring Editing by echo’s Donya Majidi-Maguire BFE and Production Design + Costume Design by echo’s Paix Robinson, BFDG. The short is written and directed by Evie Ward-Drummond and Amber Gadd.

The 2026 BFI London Film Festival will run from 7th–18th October 2026.

‘FIGHTLAND’ NOW STREAMING ON SKY AND NOW TV!

The wait is over, FIGHTLAND is now out on Sky and NOW TV in the UK, featuring Editing by echo’s Matteo Bini on Episodes 3 + 6 and Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Nora Robertson.

Starring Howard Charles as boxing champion Duke Kilroy, the series follows his return home after eight years in a US prison, determined to settle the score with the man he believes betrayed him.

Directed by Otto Bathurst, Sebastian Thiel, Tessa Hoffe and Colm McCarthy, the series is produced by Expanded Media, G-Unit and Starz, with Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson serving as executive producer.

OFFICIAL TEASER FOR ‘OASIS: DON’T LOOK BACK IN ANGER’ OUT NOW!

The wait is over! The official teaser for OASIS: DON’T LOOK BACK IN ANGER documentary is out now, featuring additional photography by echo’s Ruben Woodin Dechamps, alongside cinematography by Will Pugh as part of the wider team of cinematographers.

Created by BAFTA and Oscar-nominated writer, producer and director Steven Knight, the documentary is directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, and produced by Magna Studios.

The film will premiere at the 2026 Venice International Film Festival before opening in select IMAX cinemas and theatres this September. It captures Liam and Noel Gallagher’s return to the stage for their first performances together in 16 years.

OASIS: DON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER will have its World Premiere Out of Competition on 5th September at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.

‘SEANCE ON A WET AFTERNOON’ ANNOUNCED FEATURING WORK BY SARAH BLENKINSOP!

A new adaptation of Mark McShane’s 1961 novel SEANCE ON A WET AFTERNOON has been announced, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop.

Directed by Tomas Alfredson and produced by Element Pictures, Astral Projection and Film4, the film will star Rachel Weisz, Joe Alwyn and Matthew Macfadyen.

The psychological thriller follows Myra, a self-proclaimed medium who persuades her husband, Billy, to kidnap the son of a wealthy family.

Starring Robert Pattinson and produced by A24, the upcoming biographical psychological thriller is directed by Lance Oppenheim in his narrative feature debut. The film is based on an Esquire Magazine investigation of the early 2000s TV programme ‘To Catch A Predator’ and its hidden-camera operations led by Chris Hansen.

We’re pleased to share that ON FALLING, writer-director Laura Carreira’s acclaimed debut feature, is now available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

The film features Production Design by echo’s Andy Drummond, BFDG, and was produced by Sixteen Films and BRO Cinema with support from BFI, BBC Films, Screen Scotland and ICA.

Starring Joana Santos, ON FALLING follows Aurora, a Portuguese worker in a Scottish warehouse, as she navigates loneliness and alienation, searching for meaning and human connection amid the confines of work and shared living.

The film premiered at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) before screening in competition at San Sebastián and the BFI London Film Festival, where it won the Sutherland Award for Best First Feature.

‘AT NIGHT’ WINS BEST EMERGING DIRECTOR AT LOCARNO!

We’re proud to share that AT NIGHT, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Holly Rebecca, has won the Best Emerging Director Award at the 2026 Locarno Film Festival for director Beatrice Gibson.

‘AT NIGHT’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Holly Rebecca, screens today at the 2026 Locarno Film Festival, where it will have its World Premiere in the Filmmakers of the Present competition.

Directed by Beatrice Gibson, the film follows six women in Paris. Supported by BBC Film, the feature is produced by Somesuch and Norte Productions.

The 79th Locarno Film Festival will run until the 15th August 2026.

‘LADY’ screens at BFI Southbank today, followed by a Q&A with actor Sian Clifford and director Samuel Abrahams, hosted by broadcaster and film critic Anna Smith.

The next instalment in the BAFTA-winning Channel 4 anthology series stars Nicola Coughlan and Joe Cole, exploring the manosphere from a female perspective.

Created and directed by Dominic Savage, the film follows Helen and her love interest, played by Joe Cole, as he becomes increasingly immersed in the manosphere, revealing how its toxicity can impact modern relationships and those around them.

The 2026 Venice International Film Festival line-up has been revealed, with several projects featuring work by echo clients selected across the programme.

In the Competition section, ‘PRIMETIME’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Alex Bovaird, has been selected to screen. Directed by Lance Oppenheim and produced by A24, the crime drama stars Robert Pattinson.

Also in the Competition section, ‘BUNKER’, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Ben Smithard, BSC. Directed by Florian Zeller and produced by Blue Morning Pictures and Sony Pictures Classics, the film continues its festival run following recent selections at Toronto.

The 83rd Venice International Film Festival takes place from 26th August – 5th September 2026.
