DICK LUNN WRAPS ON "END OF THE FU**ING WORLD"
Production Designer Dick Lunn has now wrapped on END OF THE F***ING WORLD! Directors Destiny Ekaragha and Lucy Forbes head up this season. We can’t wait to see what series 2 has in store for us.
CHLOË THOMSON SHOOTS "ADULT MATERIAL"!
Director of Photography, Chloë Thomson, is now shooting ADULT MATERIAL with Director Dawn Shadforth. The new 4 part series for Channel 4 is about is about a woman's life working in the adult film industry. The cast includes Hayley Squires, Rupert Everett and Joe Dempsie.
"IN FABRIC" TRAILER!
Peter Strickland’s IN FABRIC have released it’s official trailer ahead of the film hitting UK cinemas next month! The comedy horror, based around a haunted red dress, features Costume Design by echo’s Jo Thompson and Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Emma Scott.
EIFF 2019 LINEUP ANNOUNCED!
The Edinburgh International Film Festival revealed it’s full lineup today! As previously announced, Ninian Doff’s debut feature BOYZ IN THE WOOD will open this year’s programme with echo’s Mark Everson Consulting Editor on the film. We are also pleased to say that Rowan Athale’s STRANGE BUT TRUE will have it’s World Premiere, shot by Stuart Bentley, BSC; William McGregor’s GWEN, with production design by Laura Ellis Cricks, will also be screening at the fest and Australian film UNDERTOW, lensed by Bonnie Elliott, ACS will have it’s International Premiere.

SEAN PRICE WILLIAMS SHOOTS MICHAEL ALMEREYDA'S "TESLA"!
After collaborating previously on MARJORIE PRIME, Director of Photography, Sean Price Williams is teaming up again with Director Michael Almereyda’s to shoot his latest feature TESLA! The film about the inventor Nikola Tesla is currently filming in NYC and will star Ethan Hawke, Eve Hewson and Kyle MacLachlan.
"VIVARIUM": ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS!
Premiering at Cannes Film Festival today is VIVARIUM! Directed by Lorcan Finnegan and shot by echo’s new DoP client MacGregor, the film is nominated for the Critics Week Grand Prize and stars Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg.
"BIRDS OF PASSAGE" UK RELEASE!
After a highly anticipated wait, and a year after opening Director’s Fortnight at Cannes Film Festival, BIRDS OF PASSAGE is finally out in the UK today! Lensed by DoP David Gallego, ADFC, directed by Cristina Gallego and Ciro Guerra the film will be in Curzon cinemas as of today and also available to stream on Curzon on demand. One of echo’s films of last year - don’t miss it!
"A WHITE WHITE DAY": ECHO FESTIVAL FOCUS!
Hlynur Palmason’s A WHITE, WHITE DAY has it’s World Premiere at Cannes today! The feature, which is nominated for the Critics Week Grand Prize, is shot by echo’s Maria von Hausswolff who also collaborated with Palmason on her critically acclaimed film WINTER BROTHERS. We can’t wait to see this one!

BAFTA TELEVISION AWARDS!
The winners of the 2019 BAFTA Television Awards were announced last night and we are thrilled that PATRICK MELROSE won Best Mini-Series, congrats to the all echo editing team of Tim Murrell, Luke Dunkley, Dan Roberts and Simon Smith; and SALLY4EVER picked up the award for Best Scripted Comedy which features Costume Design by echo’s Emma Fryer!
"JUDY" TRAILER RELEASED!
Have a sneak peak at echo’s Production Designer, Kave Quinn’s amazing work on the new JUDY trailer! The film, directed by Rupert Goold and starring Renée Zellweger, documents Judy Garland’s trip to London in the 60s and is due for release in September this year.

Georgia Parris’ MARI has released it’s official trailer! The feature debut from Parris, that had it’s premiere at BFI London Film Fest last year, stars acclaimed dancer Bobbi Jene Smith. Echo clients, Production Designer Bobbie Cousins, Costume Designer Holly Rebecca, Editor Napoleon Stratogiannakis and Hair + Make-Up Designer Bean Ellis all worked on the project. The film will be in UK cinemas from 21st June!

Johan Renck's historical drama, CHERNOBYL, will air on Sky Atlantic tonight at 9pm! The series, based on the real, harrowing events in Chernobyl nuclear power plant 30 years ago, has already received rave reviews after it's premiere at Tribeca. The series is cut by an all echo’s team of Jinx Godfrey and Simon Smith!
