BIFA-winning writer Alice Birch makes her directorial debut with this fantasy drama for Searchlight Pictures, starring Cate Blanchett and Spike Fearn. Produced by House Productions, Blanchett’s Dirty Films and Film4, this film follows a woman burdened by a unique sensitivity, glimpsing the soul's most intimate requirements, often to her own severe detriment.

Production began this Autumn and we are so excited to see the final outcome!

Writer James Wood's latest drama centers on the wealthy Tanner family and the arrival of their seemingly ideal replacement nanny, Adam, while on holiday in Greece. As a carefully-orchestrated revenge plan begins to uncover secrets and sabotage the family to the point of ruin, it becomes clear that Adam is not as charming and innocent as he first appeared.

Directed by Mike Barker and Leonora Lonsdale, this Expectation Entertainment and Tailspin Films thriller stars David Duchovny, Carice van Houten and Jack Whitehall.

LFF HIGHLIGHTS: IF I HAD LEGS I’D KICK YOU.

Following an inspiring week at the London Film Festival, we continued exploring the programme and discovered more standout films that capture the talent showcased across the festival. One title that’s catching our attention right now is 'IF I HAD LEGS I’D KICK YOU', directed by Mary Bronstein and starring Rose Byrne.

After premiering at Sundance, the film headed to Berlin – where Byrne received the Silver Bear for Best Actress – the film offers a darkly funny and unflinching look at motherhood on the brink. Byrne plays Linda, a therapist and mother struggling to hold her life together as her child’s mysterious illness and an absent husband push her to the edge, delivering a tense and deeply affecting performance.

There’s plenty more to see, and we can’t wait to dive in.

Sportswear brand ‘ON RUNNING’ have announced a partnership with artist Burna Boy in new commercial, with Costume Design by echo’s Buki Ebiesuwa.

The advert is Directed by Rollo Jackson and Produced by Somesuch.

‘BAD APPLES’ AND ‘THE SON AND THE SEA’ AT SAN SEBASTIÁN FILM FESTIVAL 2025

San Sebastián Film Festival 2025 has set its New Directors lineup with ‘BAD APPLES’ confirmed to open the strand and ‘THE SON AND THE SEA’ also set to feature.

‘BAD APPLES’ - Directed by Jonatan Etzler, this satirical thriller stars Saoirse Ronan as a teacher driven to extremes by a violent student, exposing a community willing to ignore anything to preserve its peace. The film features Costume Design by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop.

‘THE SON AND THE SEA’ - Directed by Stroma Cairns, this poignant film follows Jonah and Lee as they befriend a deaf man called Charlie while on a trip to the northern Scottish coast and Jonah learns what is important in life. The debut feature includes Cinematography by echo’s Ruben Woodin Dechamps and Editing by Andonis Trattos.

The 73rd Edition of this prestigious Spanish festival will run from the 19th to the 27th September, 2025.

‘TORNADO’ – NOW SHOWING IN CINEMAS ACROSS THE UK & IRELAND

‘TORNADO’ storms into cinemas with creative work from echo’s Kirsty Halliday (Costume Design) and Kat Morgan (Hair + Make-Up Design).

Directed by John Maclean and produced by Tea Shop Productions, this action drama follows the daughter of a Japanese puppeteer caught in the crossfire of a violent crime gang led by Sugarman and his son, Little Sugar.
