CONGRATULATIONS TO ECHO CLIENT PROJECTS NOMINATED AT THE 2026 NATIONAL FILM AWARDS!
We're proud to celebrate a number of projects featuring work by echo clients, that have received nominations at the 2026 National Film Awards!
‘I SWEAR’, featuring Editing by echo’s Sam Sneade, received nominations for Best Drama, Best British Film and Outstanding Performance (Robert Aramayo). The film was directed by Kirk Jones and produced by One Story High and Bankside Films.
‘ROSE OF NEVADA’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Jo Thompson and Hair + Make-Up by Hannah Eccleston, was nominated for Best Feature Film and Best Independent Film. The film was directed by Mark Jenkin and produced by Film4 Productions and BFI Films.
‘THE BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND’, featuring Production Design by echo’s Alexandra Toomey, received a nomination for Best Comedy in Film & TV. The film was directed by James Griffiths and produced by Baby Cow Productions.
‘SECRET SERVICE’, featuring Editing by echo’s Matteo Bini on episodes 1, 2 and 3, received nominations for Best TV Drama Series, Best Producer in Film & TV (Gail Egan and Andrea Calderwood), Best Actress in a TV Series (Gemma Arterton), Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series (Rafe Spall and Roger Allam), Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series (Amaka Okafor and Alex Kingston), Best Action in a Film / TV Series and Best Screenplay in a TV Series. The series was directed by James Marsh and produced by Potboiler.
‘THE NIGHT MANAGER’ Season 2, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Oliver Cronk, Editing by Napoleon Stratogiannakis and Additional Editing by John Dwelly BFE on episode 3, received nominations for Best TV Drama Series, Best Actor in a TV Series (Tom Hiddleston) and Best Action in a Film / TV Series. The series was directed by Georgi Banks-Davies and produced by The Ink Factory.
‘UNDER SALT MARSH’, featuring Editing by echo’s Alastair Reid on episodes 1, 2, 5 and 6, and directed in part by Mary Nighy, received nominations for Best TV Drama Series and Best Actress in a TV Series (Kelly Reilly). The series was produced by Little Door Productions in association with Sky Studios.
‘SURVIVING EARTH’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Oliver Cronk, received a nomination for Best Independent Film. The film was directed by Thea Gajić and produced by My Accomplice and Sona Films.
‘PILLION’, featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by echo’s Diandra Ferreira, received a nomination for Best British Film. The film was written and directed by Harry Lighton and produced by BBC Film, BFI and Element Pictures.
‘ON BECOMING A GUINEA FOWL’, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography David Gallego, ADFC, received a nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. The film was directed by Rungano Nyoni and produced by BBC Film and Element Pictures.
Winners will be announced at the 12th National Film Awards Ceremony on 1 July 2026 at Porchester Hall, London.
