DECEIT airs tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm! Directed by Niall MacCormick, the mini-series features Hair + Make-Up design by My Alehammar, and is based on the true story of the investigation into Rachel Nickell’s murder in London in 1992.

Jeanette Nordahl’s WILDLAND is out in the UK today! The film, shot by David Gallego, ADFC, has had much critical acclaim since it’s premiere at Berlin last year, and will also released in the US on 20th August.

THE NEW SEASON OF "I AM" HITS OUR SCREENS TONIGHT!
Season 2 of Dominic Savage’s I AM hits our screen tonight. Another 3 episodes will air in this series, tonight’s episode I AM VICTORIA and ep 2, I AM DANIELLE, were both shot by echo DoP Stuart Bentley, BSC and the final ep I AM MARIA was lensed by echo’s Rachel Clark. Joe Marcantonio’s KINDRED is available to watch on Sky and Now TV! The film features a star studded cast including Tamara Lawrence, Fiona Shaw and Jack Lowden and was shot by echo DoP Carlos Catalan, with costume design by Natalie Humphries and Hair and Make-Up Design by Bean Ellis.

TIFF LINEUP 2021!
Further films have been added to the TIFF Lineup for 2021. So pleased to see the following client projects in this year’s selection: Nathalie Biancheri’s WOLF (pictured), cut by Editor Andonis Trattos; Emre Kayis’ ANATOLIAN LEOPARD, shot by DoP Nick Cooke; and Camille Griffin’s SILENT NIGHT, with Hair and Make-Up Designed by My Alehammar.
This year’s festival runs from the 9th - 18th September.

THE NORTH WATER is out in the US today! Andrew Haig’s miniseries premieres tonight on AMC+ with brilliant costumes designed by echo’s Sarah Blenkinsop. The five parter is based on Ian McGuire's bestselling novel of the same name and stars Colin Farrell, Stephen Graham, Peter Mullan and Jack O’Connell.

ECHO EDITORS NOMINATED AT THE EMMYS 2021
The 2021 Emmy Award nominations are out and a massive congratulations to Yan Miles for his Outstanding Editing for A Drama Series nod following his brilliant work on THE CROWN!
THE CROWN has been nominated for 24 awards, including Yan’s editing for THE CROWN: FAIRYTALE and for Outstanding Directing.
Congratulations also go to John Dwelly, Editor on I MAY DESTROY YOU, which came away with 9 nominations in total!
The 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards will air live Sunday 19th September but The Creative Arts section of the Emmys are being split into several ceremonies which will take place the week prior to the Primetime awards.

The short film and immersive installation was written by Max Porter, stars Cillian Murphy and features costume design by echo’s Natalie Humphries. "FRENCH EXIT" IS OUT IN THE UK TODAY!
Azazel Jacobs’ FRENCH EXIT is out in the UK today! The brilliant Jane Petrie designed the costumes on this adaptation of Patrick deWitt’s novel. The film stars Oscar nominated Michelle Pfeiffer as a Manhattan socialite who moves to Paris with her son (played by Lucas Hedges) with the small amount of her inheritance she has left.
"SOPHIE: A MURDER IN WEST CORK" IS OUT TODAY!
Docuseries SOPHIE: A MURDER IN WEST CORK is out on Netflix today. Directed by John Dower and shot by echo’s Director of Photography Will Pugh, the doc follows the investigation and unsolved murder of French Film Producer Sophie Toscan Du Plantier. Sophie who was killed while at her isolated holiday cottage in West Cork, Ireland, in 1996 where it was the first murder in living memory.
CANNES LIONS ROUNDUP!
A different kind of Cannes Lions this year but still an exciting one! Congratulations to Aneil Karia who won a Gold Lion for Direction for THE LONG GOODBYE (pictured), shot by Stuart Bentley, BSC and costumes designed by Holly Rebecca. Further congrats again to Holly Rebecca Costume Designer for the MACMILLAN “WHATEVER IT TAKES” spot which picked up a Silver Lion in the Film category.
And of course well done to all shortlisted work, including Production Designer Jon Henson who was shortlisted for his design on SAINSBURY’S NICHOLAS THE SWEEP.

Directed by Clive Patterson and cut by echo Editor Mark Keady, the documentary follows two friends, a journalist and a theatre-maker, from Sierra Leone, one of the World’s poorest countries, when they attempt to put on an epic piece of national theatre to reclaim Africa from all the medias negative narratives.
