‘MARIE MADELEINE’ SCREENS AT TIFF!

With its North American Premiere last Friday as part of TIFF’s Centrepiece programme, MARIE MADELEINE also screens today, Wednesday and Sunday in Toronto, featuring cinematography by Director of Photography echo’s Nicolas Canniccioni.

Written, directed by and starring Géssica Généus, the film is a contemporary, surreal reimagining of the biblical story of Mary Magdalene, set in Haiti.

MARIE MADELEINE premiered at Cannes earlier this year, and will also screen at the BFI London Film Festival in October. It was produced by SaNoSi Productions, and co-produced by Ayizan, Stenola, Bidibul and Metafilm.
