EAR FOR EYE HITS THE UK SCREENS TODAY!
Debbie Tucker Green's EAR FOR EYE has its World Premiere today at LFF, as well as screening on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer! The film is has adapted from Green's highly acclaimed 2018 Royal Court stage production of the same name. Hair + Makeup was designed by echo's brilliant Nora Robertson.

BAFTA SCOTLAND NOMINATIONS!
The BAFTA Scotland nominations have been announced! We are very happy to congratulate the following echo clients on their work on the following nominated projects:
DoP Nick Cooke, Production Designer Andy Drummond, Costume Designer Holly Rebecca, Hair + Make-Up Designer Kat Morgan and Editor Eve Doherty (Assistant) for their work on LIMBO (pictured) which is nominated for 5 awards including Best Director and Best Feature; Double congrats to Production Designer Andy Drummond who designed RUN which is nominated for 3 awards including Best Feature; Costume Designer Susie Coulthard for her work on PERFECT 10 which is nominated for Best Director + Best Writer; Editor Sarah Brewerton for IT'S A SIN which is nominated for the Audience Award; Editor Sacha Szwarc for DES which is also nominated for the Audience Award; DoP Carlos Catalan, Costume Designer Natalie Humphries and Hair + Make-Up Designer Bean Ellis for their work on KINDRED which also received a nomination; Costume Designer Natalie Humphries also designed BODY OF WATER which recieved a Best Writer nod.
The award ceremony takes place on Saturday 20th November in Glasgow.

UK MVA nominations are out and we are very pleased to congratulate the following clients for their work on the nominated promos:
DoP Stuart Bentley, BSC for Kano's "Teardrops" which is nominated for 2 awards, Best UK Hip Hop and Best Special Video Project; Costume Designer Taff Williamson for Dua Lipa's "Love Again" which is nominated for Best UK Pop Video & Slowthai's "Feel Away" which received a nod in the Best UK Hip-hop/ Grime/ Rap category and was also shot by echo DoP Ruben Woodin Dechamps, congrats also go to Ruben for Joy Crookes's "Feet Don't Fail Me Now", which is nominated for Best UK Pop Video; Production Designer Elena Muntoni for Arlo Park's "Hope" (pictured) nominated for Best UK Pop Video and Preditahs x WSTRN's "Distant Memory", which Elena also designed and is nominated for Best Newcomer R&B/ Soul Video; finally congrats to Costume Designer Frank Gallacher who designed Bakar “Noun”, nominated as UK Best Alternative Video.
The award ceremony will be held at Roundhouse this year and take place on the 4th November!

The Primetime Emmy awards were announced last night and a huge congratulations to I MAY DESTROY YOU for winning Best writing for a limited series and congrats to echo Editor John Dwelly who cut eps 6 and 12 of the series
THE CROWN also took home an award for Outstanding drama series and a special mention to echo editor Yan Miles for his work on THE CROWN : FAIRYTALE!
