BAFTA SCOTLAND NOMINATIONS!

The BAFTA Scotland nominations have been announced! We are very happy to congratulate the following echo clients on their work on the following nominated projects:

DoP Nick Cooke, Production Designer Andy Drummond, Costume Designer Holly Rebecca, Hair + Make-Up Designer Kat Morgan and Editor Eve Doherty (Assistant) for their work on LIMBO (pictured) which is nominated for 5 awards including Best Director and Best Feature; Double congrats to Production Designer Andy Drummond who designed RUN which is nominated for 3 awards including Best Feature; Costume Designer Susie Coulthard for her work on PERFECT 10 which is nominated for Best Director + Best Writer; Editor Sarah Brewerton for IT'S A SIN which is nominated for the Audience Award; Editor Sacha Szwarc for DES which is also nominated for the Audience Award; DoP Carlos Catalan, Costume Designer Natalie Humphries and Hair + Make-Up Designer Bean Ellis for their work on KINDRED which also received a nomination; Costume Designer Natalie Humphries also designed BODY OF WATER which recieved a Best Writer nod.

The award ceremony takes place on Saturday 20th November in Glasgow.

TRUE THINGS PREMIERES AT LIFF TODAY!

Harry Wootliff’s TRUE THINGS hits the UK screens today at LFF, and after its success at Venice and TFF we're so excited to see it! Especially the amazing work from echo Production Designer Andy Drummond.

UK MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS NOMINATIONS 2021!

UK MVA nominations are out and we are very pleased to congratulate the following clients for their work on the nominated promos:

DoP Stuart Bentley, BSC for Kano's "Teardrops" which is nominated for 2 awards, Best UK Hip Hop and Best Special Video Project; Costume Designer Taff Williamson for Dua Lipa's "Love Again" which is nominated for Best UK Pop Video & Slowthai's "Feel Away" which received a nod in the Best UK Hip-hop/ Grime/ Rap category and was also shot by echo DoP Ruben Woodin Dechamps, congrats also go to Ruben for Joy Crookes's "Feet Don't Fail Me Now", which is nominated for Best UK Pop Video; Production Designer Elena Muntoni for Arlo Park's "Hope" (pictured) nominated for Best UK Pop Video and Preditahs x WSTRN's "Distant Memory", which Elena also designed and is nominated for Best Newcomer R&B/ Soul Video; finally congrats to Costume Designer Frank Gallacher who designed Bakar “Noun”, nominated as UK Best Alternative Video.

The award ceremony will be held at Roundhouse this year and take place on the 4th November!

The new advert for LITTLE MOONS “NECKS APPEAL” has been released. The commercial features brilliant work from echo Costume Designer Coline Bach and is directed by Em Cole.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE PRIMETIME EMMY WINNERS!

The Primetime Emmy awards were announced last night and a huge congratulations to I MAY DESTROY YOU for winning Best writing for a limited series and congrats to echo Editor John Dwelly who cut eps 6 and 12 of the series

THE CROWN also took home an award for Outstanding drama series and a special mention to echo editor Yan Miles for his work on THE CROWN : FAIRYTALE!

Camille Griffin's SILENT NIGHT premieres at TIFF today! The Christmas themed dark comedy stars Keira Knightley and features Hair + Makeup design by echo's My Alehammar.

“WOLF” PREMIRES AT TIFF TODAY!

TIFF 2021 is in full swing and Nathalie Biancheri's WOLF will premier today at the festival! The drama was cut by echo editor Andonis Trattos

“HELP” AIRS TODAY ON CHANNEL 4 AT 9PM!

Marc Munden's HELP airs tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm! The film is inspired by the devastating true events that took place in UK care homes during the pandemic. Proud of the big echo rep on this one; cut by Editor Simon Smith, with costumes designed by Holly Rebecca and production design by Alexandra Toomey 👏

EMMY CRAFT WINNER!

A massive congratulations to echo's Yan Miles for picking up an Emmy for his editing work on THE CROWN "Fairytale". If you haven't watched it yet this is your sign to!

"ANATOLIAN LEOPARD" GETS IT'S WORLD PREMIERE AT TIFF TODAY!

Emre Kayis's ANATOLIAN LEOPARD will have it’s World Premiere at the TIFF today. The film was shot by echo’s wonderful DoP Nick Cooke.

“NORTH WATER” IS OUT ON BBC 2 TONIGHT AT 9PM!

NORTH WATER is out on BBC 2 tonight at 9pm! The mini-series, set in the Arctic starring Colin Farrell, Stephen Graham and Jack O'Connell, features brilliant costume design by echo's Sarah Blenkinsop.

TIFF KICKS OFF TODAY!

Toronto International Film Festival 2021 kicks off today and Harry Wootliff's TRUE THINGS is screening at the fest! We can't wait for you all to see the brilliant production design by echo's Andy Drummond (make sure to get tickets when it screens at London Film Festival next month)!

LONDON FILM FESTIVAL LINEUP 2021!

We are really excited after seeing the official 2021 London Film Festival Lineup! Big Congratulations to our clients with projects screening in this years fest.

This years lineup includes TRUE THINGS, designed by Production Designer Andy Drummond (which will screen in the Official Competition); SHE WILL (pictured) with Production Design by Laura Ellis Cricks; A BANQUET, featuring Hair + Make-Up Design by Kat Morgan; EAR FOR EYE with Hair + Make-Up Design by Nora Robertson; and short film FOR LOVE, featuring Costume Design by Buki Ebiesuwa (which is in the Official Short Film Competition).

London Film Festival 2021 runs from 6th - 17th October.

WILDFIRE IS OUT IN THE UK TODAY!

Cathy Brady’s WILDFIRE is out in the UK today! The film that follows the story of two reunited sisters discovering secrets from their mother's past, was cut by echo editor Matteo Bini.

Sam Hobkinson’s MISHA AND THE WOLVES hits UK cinemas tomorrow! Lensed by echo DoP Will Pugh, Variety described the film as “Extraordinary… few things are as pleasurable in movies as having the rug pulled out from under you.” Go see it!

"STEPHEN" AIRS TONIGHT ON ITV!

STEPHEN airs tonight at 9pm on ITV! The Mini-Series, directed by Alrick Riley, tells of the struggle Stephen Lawrence’s parents faced to achieve justice for their son’s murder. Hair + Make-Up was designed by Nora Robertson.

"THE NEST" IS OUT IN THE UK TODAY!
