We’re proud to see Alex Holmes win Production Bronze for his Production Design work on Lucy Forbes' NEVER JUST A PERIOD for Bodyform!
The campaign, also featuring Jo Jo Lam as 2nd Unit Director of Photography, picked up Ideas Gold for Film (over 120 seconds) and Production Bronze for Direction (over 120 seconds).

Echo’s Production Designer Francesca Massariol and Hair and Make Up Designer Diandra Ferreira have finished filming PILLION, a thrilling new feature directed by the talented Harry Lighton, and backed by BBC Film and Element Pictures.
Starring the captivating Alexander Skarsgård and Harry Melling, Pillion takes us on an intense ride as Colin, a shy and reserved man, crosses paths with Ray, a bold and magnetic biker gang leader. As Ray pulls Colin into a provocative and submissive relationship, Colin’s world is shaken, igniting a journey of transformation that tests his boundaries and redefines his sense of self.

THE OUTRUN UK RELEASE!
After much anticipation, THE OUTRUN has finally been released in UK cinema’s today! Directed by Nora Fingscheidt, this adaptation of Amy Liptrot's 2015 memoir stars Saoirse Ronan as an alcoholic returning to her family’s farm in Scotland to confront her sobriety. The film also features powerful performances by Stephen Dillane and Saskia Reeves and showcases the creative talents of Echo's Production Designer Andy Drummond and Hair and Makeup Designer Kat Morgan.
Produced by Arcade Pictures, BBC Film, Brock Media, Screen Scotland, and Weydemann Bros, The Outrun masterfully captures the harsh realities of alcoholism. Kat Morgan's remarkable hair and makeup design further emphasizes the film's themes, adding depth to its depiction of these challenges. You can read more about her work here.
In addition to its UK release, The Outrun will be hitting North American cinemas on October 4th, making it an indie film you won’t want to miss!

The Grierson Award nominations have been revealed, and LOCKERBIE has earned a spot in the Netflix Best Documentary Series category. Directed by John Dower, the gripping four-part series was produced by Mindhouse Productions and Sky Documentaries, with cinematography by Echo’s Will Pugh.
