MRS DAVIS is hitting the US today! Owen Harris' sci-fi series, designed by echo Production Designer Emma Fairley and Costume Designer Susie Coulthard, has received heaps of excellent reviews already. Catch episodes 1-4 on Peacock now and stay tuned for the show’s UK release, hopefully very soon!
THE TRIBECA 2023 LINEUP IS HERE!
The Tribeca lineup is here! This year’s festival, taking place 7th-18th June, will screen Georden West’s PLAYLAND (pictured), lensed by echo DoP Jo Jo Lam, as well as the world premiere of Stuart Gatt’s feature CATCHING DUST, cut by echo Editor Nicolas Gaster!

Congratulations to echo DoP Sean Price Williams, whose feature THE SWEET EAST is set to have its world premiere at this year’s Cannes Directors' Fortnight! This film is his directorial debut, with Sean having an extensive background in Cinematography, lensing several previous Cannes-selected features, including the Safdie Brothers' GOOD TIME, Owen Kline’s FUNNY PAGES and Anaïs Volpé’s THE BRAVES!

‘HOW TO HAVE SEX’ SELECTED FOR CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2023!
Molly Manning Walker’s HOW TO HAVE SEX has been officially selected for this year’s Un Certain Regard competition at Cannes Film Festival. The feature directional debut from Walker was shot by echo’s Director of Photography Nicolas Canniccioni and costumes were designed by echo’s George Buxton. Congratulations to all the cast and crew. We can’t wait to see the film!
GODLAND IS FINALLY OUT IN CINEMAS!
Hlynur Pálmason’s GODLAND has finally had its cinematic release in the UK! Lensed by echo DoP Maria Von Hausswolff, the film has had fantastic critical reception after doing the rounds at several of last year’s film festivals, picking up an ‘Un Certain Regard' prize nomination at Cannes as well as being awarded the Jury Commendation of LFF’s Official Competition.
THE POWER IS OUT!
The next episode of THE POWER is out tomorrow on Amazon Prime! Episode 4, shot by echo DoP Carlos Catalan, who also lensed episode 7, will be available from tomorrow. The dystopian series, based off the same-titled novel by Naomi Alderman, has already received fantastic critical reception. Catch it on Amazon Prime Video!
GOD'S CREATURES IS HITTING CINEMAS TODAY!
GOD'S CREATURES is hitting cinemas today! With Makeup Design by echo’s Freddie Stopler, the film premiered at the 2022 Cannes Director’s Fortnight and received a whopping five BIFA nominations last year. The A24 drama was directed by Saela Davis and Anna Rose Holmer and stars Paul Mescal and Emily Watson. Don’t miss it!

RAGING GRACE PICKS UP THE GRAND JURY PRIZE AT SXSW!
RAGING GRACE has picked up the Grand Jury Prize of SXSW festival’s Narrative Feature Competition! The film features Additional Editing by echo’s Sarah Brewerton and was directed by Paris Zarcilla, who was also awarded the Thunderbird Rising Award at this year’s festival!
SXSW KICKS OFF TODAY!
SXSW 2023 is kicking off today!
The festival will host the world premieres of series MRS DAVIS (pictured), featuring work by echo Costume Designer Susie Coulthard and Production Designer Emma Fairley, and of feature film NORTHERN COMFORT, shot by echo DoP Niels Thasthum, DFF. WAR PONY will also screen, for which echo DoP David Gallego, ADFC was awarded the Camera d’Or at last year’s Cannes Film Festival for his brilliant cinematography, as well as RAGING GRACE, with Additional Editing by Sarah Brewerton!
RAIN DOGS IS OUT IN THE US!
RAIN DOGS is out in the US now! With episodes 1, 2, 7 and 8 of the comedy drama lensed by echo DoP Carlos Catalan alongside Director Richard Laxton, the series has already been receiving fantastic reviews, with TIME concluding “like any great album, the show’s eight short, thrilling episodes demand to be played on repeat”. Catch it on HBO and HBO Max in the US, and stay tuned for it’s UK release, which is hopefully very soon!
