A HUGE congratulations to echo DOP Evelin van Rei who will receive the Angénieux Special Encouragement Award at Cannes Festival this year.
Alongside the annual Pierre Angénieux Tribute which is awarded to a prominent and legendary Director of Photography, Angénieux also recognises the talent of a pioneering DOP to watch through the Special Encouragement Award at Cannes.

Nadim Carlsen, DFF collaborated with Ali Abbasi on his latest feature HOLY SPIDER, selected as part of the Official Competition. In the Un Certain Regard section, Maria von Hausswolff lensed Hlynur Palmason's VANSKABTE LAND, while David Gallego, ADFC shot Riley Keough and Gina Gammell's debut feature, the UNTITLED PINE RIDGE PROJECT.
We can't wait to see their wonderful work in Cannes!
