"I MAY DESTROY YOU" WINS BEST MINI-SERIES AT THE BAFTA TV AWARDS!

I MAY DESTROY YOU won both Best Mini-Series and Best Leading Actress for Michaela Coel at the BAFTA TV Awards last night! Congratulations to echo Editor John Dwelly who cut eps 6 and 12 of the series, and of course he also picked up a BAFTA for his work a couple of weeks ago.

We are so proud to congratulate Editor John Dwelly on his BAFTA win last night for his work on Michaela Coel’s I MAY DESTROY YOU! The show also picked up awards for Best Director and Writer.

The remaining BAFTA TV winners will be announced at a separate ceremony on 6th June.

I MAY DESTROY YOU picked up 3 wins at the RTS Awards last night, including Best Mini-Series! Congratulations to echo Editor John Dwelly who cut eps 6 and 12 of the series. A very well deserved win for the show and Michaela Coel!

The Independent Spirit Award nominations are out and we are very pleased to see that MINARI (pictured) has been nominated for 6 awards including Best Feature and I MAY DESTROY YOU for Best New Scripted Series. MINARI was shot by echo’s Director of Photography Lachlan Milne, ACS and I MAY DESTROY YOU (eps 6 + 12) edited by John Dwelly. Congratulations!

The winners will be announced at the ceremony in LA on the 22nd April.

Without further ado, our Number 1 TV/Film of the year is…I MAY DESTROY YOU! Michaela Coel’s triumph is probably one of the most talked about shows of the last few years. It is worthy of all it’s rave reviews and, we’re sure, soon to be many award nominations and wins! Not to mention the brilliant work of echo Editor John Dwelly who cut episodes 6 and 12.
