BBC'S 'SHERWOOD' SEASON 2 MAKES A THRILLING PREMIERE!

Season two of SHERWOOD has made a thrilling premiere with the first two episodes out on BBC and BBC iPlayer!

The British crime drama features echo artists work with Cinematography by Nick Cooke starting the season off on Clio Barnard’s first episode and Costume Design by Holly Rebecca on all episodes directed by Barnard and Tom George.

Produced by BBC and House Productions, the series is already making waves with a 5-star review from The Guardian and high praises from the Telegraph and The Evening Standard!

TELLURIDE FILM FESTIVAL LINE UP

The Telluride Film Festival kicks off today, running through Monday, September 2nd, with a stellar lineup of films.

In the competition is "BIRD," directed by Andrea Arnold, which premiered earlier this year at Cannes. The film features outstanding performances by Barry Keoghan, Franz Rogowski, and James Nelson Joyce, with stunning costumes by Alex Bovaird.

Another highlight is Nora Fingscheidt’s "THE OUTRUN," which, after its debut at Sundance, continues its festival circuit journey. The film showcases the talents of Production Designer Andy Drummond and Hair & Makeup Designer Kat Morgan.

BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL 2024 ANNOUNCES NOMINEES FOR BEST FILM AWARD!

The BFI has unveiled the Official Competition lineup for this year's London Film Festival, showcasing a diverse selection of films vying for the 2024 Best Film Award.

Among the contenders is Bring Them Down, directed by Christopher Andrews, with cinematography by Nick Cooke and production design by Fletcher Jarvis. Also in the competition is The Extraordinary Miss Flower, helmed by directors Jane Pollard and Ian Forsyth, featuring costumes by Susie Coulthard.

A festival favourite, On Becoming a Guinea Fowl, directed by Rungano Nyoni, is also in the running, with cinematography by David Gallego (ADFC) and production design by Malin Lindholm.

Production for the survival thriller TORNADO, directed by John Maclean has recently wrapped featuring echo’s Costume Designer, Kirsty Halliday and Hair + Make-up Designer, Kat Morgan!

Set against the rugged landscape of 1970’s Britain, the feature follows a Japanese puppeteer's daughter as she becomes involved with a crime gang after crossing paths with Sugarman (played by Tim Roth) and his son Little Sugar (Jack Lowden).

KORSSHAN SCHLAUER WRAPS ON 'ODYSSEY'!

Echo’s Director of Photography, Korsshan Schlauer has wrapped on Gerard Johnson’s ODYSSEY!

Starring Polly Maberly and Mikael Persbrandt, the film is produced by Electric Shadow Company, and Stigma Films with backing from ESC Studios.

Johnson describes the film as “true to the warped world we find ourselves existing in. This is also a story about the housing crisis and how cities terrorise people. Electric Shadow and Stigma are a perfect team.”

Following shooting in North London, the thriller is currently in the grading process as we eagerly wait for the anticipated first look!
