Wishing good luck at tonight’s BAFTA ceremony to AFTERSUN (pictured), with Costume Design by echo’s Frank Gallacher, which is up for ‘Outstanding British Film’ as well as ‘Outstanding debut by a British Writer/Director/Producer’. Also up for ‘Outstanding Debut’ is BLUE JEAN, featuring work by Hair + Makeup Designer Kat Morgan and Costume Designer Kirsty Halliday.
We’re also crossing our fingers for BUS GIRL, which is nominated for ‘Best Short', lensed by DoP Nick Cooke and cut by Editor Morten Højbjerg!

THE INSPECTION IS OUT IN CINEMAS TODAY!

THE INSPECTION is out in cinemas today! Lensed by echo DoP Lachlan Milne, ASC, ACS, NZCS, Elegance Bratton’s film has received fantastic critical acclaim after doing the rounds at last year’s film festivals, including NYFF, TIFF and LFF, and picking up an Independent Spirit nomination for ‘Best First Feature’!

BERLINALE HOSTING THE WORLD PREMIERE OF FEMME!

The 2023 Berlinale kicks off today! The festival will host the world premiere of Sam H. Freeman and NG Choon Ping’s feature FEMME, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Buki Ebiesuwa and starring Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and George MacKay. The film will screen this Sunday as part of the Panorama section!

THE GOLD IS OUT NOW!

New 6 part thriller, THE GOLD, premiered this past Sunday on BBC One to great reviews. Episodes, 1, 3 and 4 were directed by Aniel Karia and shot by echo DoP Stuart Bentley, BSC with Editor Mark Keady cutting ep 4. All episodes are now available to stream on iPlayer - make sure you check it out!

BLUE JEAN IS OUT TOMORROW!

BLUE JEAN is released tomorrow in UK cinemas! Directed by Georgia Oakley, the BAFTA nominated film was designed by Costume Designer Kirsty Halliday and Hair and Make-Up Designer Kat Morgan. The film has received incredible critical acclaim since premiering at Venice Film Festival last year - you don’t want to miss it!

SXSW 2023 LINEUP REVEALED!

We are so pleased to see projects featuring echo client work on the 2023 SXSW Lineup!

The festival, taking place 10th-19th March, will screen the Cannes Camera d’Or-winning feature WAR PONY (pictured), shot by DoP David Gallego ADFC alongside Directors Riley Keough and Gina Gammell, as well as the world premiere of series MRS DAVIS, featuring Production Design by Emma Fairley and Costume Design by Susie Coulthard, and RAGING GRACE, with Additional Editing by Sarah Brewerton!

NOLLY IS OUT TODAY ON ITVX!

NOLLY is out today, cut by echo Editor Sarah Brewerton alongside Director Peter Hoar and Writer Russel T Davies, both of whom Sarah collaborated with on the BAFTA-winning series IT’S A SIN! The three-part drama depicts the life of Golden Age soap star Noele Gordon, played by Helena Bonham Carter and has already received great reviews. Catch all episodes on ITVX now!

SIMON SMITH RECEIVES AN ACE EDDIE NOMINATION FOR ANDOR!

We are so proud of echo Editor Simon Smith, who has received an ACE Eddie nomination for his fantastic work on ANDOR episode, ‘One Way Out’! Congratulations Simon! Winners will be announced at the ceremony on March 5th.

SCRAPPER PICKS UP GRAND JURY PRIZE AT SUNDANCE!

Charlotte Regan’s feature debut SCRAPPER has picked up the Grand Jury Prize at this year’s Sundance Film Festival! A huge congratulations to the cast and crew behind the beautiful film, including echo’s Production Designer Elena Muntoni, Hair + Makeup Designer Nora Robertson and Editor Matteo Bini!

BLUEBACK is screening at Sundance today! The film, based on Tim Winton’s 1997 novella of the same name, was shot by echo DoP Andrew Commis ACS alongside Director Robert Connolly, and stars Mia Wasikowska, Radha Mitchell and Eric Bana!

HOLY SPIDER IS HITTING UK CINEMAS TODAY!

HOLY SPIDER is out in UK cinemas today! The thriller, shot by echo DoP Nadim Carlsen DFF and directed by Ali Abbasi, depicts the story, based on true events, of a journalist's investigations into the serial killings of sex workers in Iranian city Mashhad. The film has received fantastic critical reception after doing the rounds at last year's top film festivals, including a Palme d’Or nomination at Cannes and has recently been shortlisted for an Oscar!

RUN RABBIT RUN AT SUNDANCE!

Sundance Film Festival kicked off yesterday! Screening today is the world premiere of Daina Reid's RUN RABBIT RUN, shot by echo DoP Bonnie Elliott ACS and starring Sarah Snook!

THE LAST OF US IS OUT NOW!

THE LAST OF US is out now, with the final episodes shot by echo DoP Nadim Carlsen DFF alongside Director Ali Abbasi! The HBO post-apocalyptic drama series, based on the same-titled video game, was created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann and has received heaps of fantastic critical reception already. The first episode is available to watch on Now TV and will show on Sky Atlantic at 9pm tonight. Don't miss it!

ALEX BOVAIRD NOMINATED FOR 2 CDG AWARDS!

We are so proud of echo Costume Designer Alex Bovaird who has been nominated for two Costume Designers Guild Awards for her amazing work on Jordan Peele's blockbuster hit NOPE aswell as the for the fourth episode, 'In The Sandbox', of Mike White's THE WHITE LOTUS Season 2! The ceremony will take place on February 27th! Congratulations Alex!

THE WHITE LOTUS S2 PICKS UP THE GOLDEN GLOBE FOR BEST LIMITED SERIES!

A huge congratulations to the cast and crew behind the second season of THE WHITE LOTUS, including echo Costume Designer Alex Bovaird, which has very deservedly picked up the Golden Globe for 'Best Limited Series' at last night's ceremony! Bravo all, we can't wait for Season 3!
