Sundance Film Festival kicked off yesterday! Screening today is the world premiere of Daina Reid's RUN RABBIT RUN, shot by echo DoP Bonnie Elliott ACS and starring Sarah Snook!

The 2023 BAFTA nominations are here!
The nominees include brilliant films worked on by echo clients, with Charlotte Wells' AFTERSUN (pictured), featuring Costume Design by Frank Gallacher, up for Outstanding British Film and Outstanding Debut by a British Director. Also nominated in this category is Georgia Oakley's BLUE JEAN, featuring Hair + Makeup Design by Kat Morgan. Bravo!
Congratulations also go to BUS GIRL, which is up for Best British Short and was shot by echo DoP Nick Cooke and cut by Editor Morten Højbjerg!
The ceremony will take place on 19th February.
THE LAST OF US IS OUT NOW!
THE LAST OF US is out now, with the final episodes shot by echo DoP Nadim Carlsen DFF alongside Director Ali Abbasi! The HBO post-apocalyptic drama series, based on the same-titled video game, was created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann and has received heaps of fantastic critical reception already. The first episode is available to watch on Now TV and will show on Sky Atlantic at 9pm tonight. Don't miss it!
ALEX BOVAIRD NOMINATED FOR 2 CDG AWARDS!
We are so proud of echo Costume Designer Alex Bovaird who has been nominated for two Costume Designers Guild Awards for her amazing work on Jordan Peele's blockbuster hit NOPE aswell as the for the fourth episode, 'In The Sandbox', of Mike White's THE WHITE LOTUS Season 2! The ceremony will take place on February 27th! Congratulations Alex!
THE WHITE LOTUS S2 PICKS UP THE GOLDEN GLOBE FOR BEST LIMITED SERIES!
A huge congratulations to the cast and crew behind the second season of THE WHITE LOTUS, including echo Costume Designer Alex Bovaird, which has very deservedly picked up the Golden Globe for 'Best Limited Series' at last night's ceremony! Bravo all, we can't wait for Season 3!
ADURA ONASHILE'S GIRL TO OPEN GLASGOW FILM FESTIVAL 2023!
Adura Onashile's debut feature GIRL, featuring Hair + Makeup Design by echo's Kat Morgan, is set to open Glasgow Film Festival 2023 on 1st March! This will be the Glasgow-shot film's UK premiere, following its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival later this month!
CATCH STONEHOUSE ON ITV1 TONIGHT!
Catch STONEHOUSE on ITV1 at 9pm! Featuring Costume Design by echo's Guy Speranza and directed by Jon S. Baird, the three part drama narrates the true scandal of British politician, John Stonehouse played by Matthew Macfadyen, who faked his own death in the early 1970s!
ECHO BEST OF 2022: AFTERSUN
The results are in and echo's Number 1 TV and Film project of 2022 goes to...
AFTERSUN! The directorial debut of Charlotte Wells touched our hearts with its sentimental portrayal of a father-daughter relationship from the perspective of a grown-up Sophie recalling the joys and melancholies of their shared holiday to Turkey twenty years prior. The film is a true cinematic masterpiece, with fantastic Costume Design by echo's Frank Gallacher and outstanding performances by Frankie Corio and Paul Mescal!
It is so worthy of all its award wins so far, notably a whopping 7 BIFA wins including Best British Independent Film and Best Director and the French Touch Prize of the Jury at Cannes!

ECHO BEST OF 2022: SEVERANCE
SEVERANCE comes in at a hugely deserved second place on our Best of 2022 list! After hitting our screens in February, we were all hooked on this sci-fi, psychological workplace thriller series, directed by the incredible Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle and created by Dan Erickson! We are so pleased Apple TV+ has renewed the Emmy-winning show for a second season!
ECHO BEST OF 2022: BLUE JEAN
We have reached our top 3! Coming in hot at 3 is Georgia Oakley's BLUE JEAN! With Hair + Makeup Design by echo's wonderful Kat Morgan, the drama looks at the bitter impact of homophobia in 1980's Thatcher Britain. Rightfully so, the film has picked up multiple BIFAs this year as well as the People’s Choice Award at Venice Film Festival's Giornate degli Autori. Bravo!
WITHOUT SIN IS OUT NOW!
WITHOUT SIN is out today on ITVX! The four part, dark psychological thriller was directed by Al Mackay and stars Vicky McClure, with all episodes lensed by echo DoP Rachel Clark. Don't miss it!
ECHO BEST OF 2022: THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN
The fourth spot of our echo Best of 2022 goes to THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN! Written and directed by Martin McDonagh and starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, the drama has deservedly received huge critical acclaim as well as screening at the world's top film festivals, including LFF, Venice and TIFF! This was a no brainer for our Top 10 countdown!
ECHO BEST OF 2022: EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE
We are halfway through our Top 10 countdown of 2022's best Film + TV! At number 5, of course we couldn't forget the sensational EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE! The Daniels duo's absurd and unique feature transformed a struggling family laundrette into a multiverse of endless possibilities, with an incredible cast! The film has recently picked up multiple, well-deserved Golden Globe and Independent Spirit Award nominations!
ECHO BEST OF 2022: HOLY SPIDER
Number 6 of our Best of 2022 selection goes to HOLY SPIDER! Ali Abassi's Palme d'Or-nominated thriller, with outstanding cinematography by echo DoP Nadim Carlsen, DFF, did the rounds at several film festivals this year, including Cannes, Telluride, TIFF and LFF, with fantastic critical reception!
ECHO BEST OF 2022: DECISION TO LEAVE
The 7th spot of our echo 2022 Film + TV countdown goes to the excellent DECISION TO LEAVE! We aren't alone in our appreciation, Park Chan-wook was awarded Best Director at Cannes Film Festival earlier this year for the film, aswell as being selected for the Palme d'Or and for the Best Motion Picture Award at the upcoming Golden Globes!

At Number 8 on our best Film + TV of 2022 countdown, we couldn't miss the brilliant Golden Globes-nominated second season of Mike White's THE WHITE LOTUS! With incredible wardrobe storytelling by echo Costume Designer Alex Bovaird, who also designed the first season, season 2 brought us more hilarious social satire and explosive drama, not to mention that shocking finale!! Bring on Season 3!

Coming in at Number 9 on our Top 10 Film + TV of 2022 countdown is the incredible MEDUSA DELUXE! Thomas Hardiman's BIFA-winning, one-shot dark comedy meets murder mystery, set in a hairdressing competition, was a firm favourite from this year's London Film Festival for the echo team! Bravo!

THIS IS GOING TO HURT - BBC One's 7-part series, based on Adam Kay's best selling memoir, portrays the gritty hardships of life as an NHS junior medic - featuring Production Design by echo's Dick Lunn and with episodes 5-7 shot by DOP Nick Cooke.
THE WHITE LOTUS S2 NOMINATED FOR THREE GOLDEN GLOBES!

The feature-length instalment, part of the BAFTA-nominated I Am series created by filmmaker Dominic Savage, features Production Design by echo's Noam Piper, was lensed by DoP Rachel Clark (who also shot I AM MARIA of the series) and stars Kate Winslet and daughter Mia Threapleton.
